In-game trades...

Does anyone actually do these in-game trades? I plan to do them after the game is finished. When do you do these trades, if you do? Are the traded pokemon helpful to you?
By all means, discuss.

Poliwhirl for Jynx in RB is the only way to get it, and Mr. Mime can only be got by trading an Abra somewhere, and Lickitung can be got by trading a Slowbro somewhere also. Apart from that, a person in Yellow who'll trade a Machoke for Cubone - the Machoke evolving upon trading. Nice!

Yeah, I always do the ingame trades since it gives me somethin' to do. I don't use the pokemon, (Except Machamp on yellow) since most of them are pretty useless, so I just dump 'em in the pc and let them rot for all eternity. So I just do them when I'm bored, or if I want to obtain a certain pokemon for my pokedex or something and am too lazy to go and catch it because it takes too long

Oh yeah, i do them, as i feel like i've truely completed apart of the game, and to have my own little 'crew or gang' of other trainer's pokemon.

I always do and trade it to GSC for more ID numbers. Actually, now they're in Stadium 2 since Gold's pretty much dead, but they'll go to another GSC game someday.
