Can I get a Kangaskhan for in-game trading? If yes, where do I trade with what pokemon?

I don't think you can get a kangaskhan in an in-game trade, check serebii's guide for more information.

About these trades... Are they always exactly the same?

Is it possible for me to reset until I get a female of the traded pokemon or is the gender already set? For example, I'd like to trade my Abra for a female Mr. Mime. Sounds odd I know.

I believe the gender can change, although I'm not sure. Try soft resetting a few times and take a look!

I have tried soft reseting quite a few time. The gender, name and level have been the same every time.
