Blood began to trickle down the face and out of the nose of the blonde pregnant woman. She started screaming “NO! STOP!” and kicked her feet furiously at the back of the car seat. The driver of the red SUV however had no intention of stopping or even slowing down the car. His cold dark eyes were looking blankly into the open stormy road on which they were driving. His squirmy little body made it able for the blonde lady to see out the front window. She saw that they were heading towards a barn.
A sudden gasp for air came out of the woman’s mouth. It was as if she could not breathe. Her cold pale hands now clenched tightly around her throat. It felt as though she was breathing through a straw. Oh no not now! Thought the pregnant lady. She felt wet on her lower body and she knew she was going into labour. “My baby is coming now!” said the lady furiously.
“Good, perfect timing. We’re here.” Said the squirmy little man in a slimy tone.
The blonde lady looked up and saw a big red barn, graffiti stretched from one side to the next. It was evident from the torn wood and the faded color that this was an old barn. The rain was pelting the four windows she could see. Three overly skinny cows lay completely still on the dry dead grass. The blonde lady looked behind her taking six more deep breathes and saw the open road in which not one car passed.
With a loud boom, the back door of the SUV flew open, rain now pouring inside. The wind howled and blew more rain in the lady’s direction as the cold wet hand of the squirmy man pulled out the blonde pregnant lady. The pregnant lady had grown accustomed to the blip bop blip bop rhythm the rain had been making on the SUV when she was inside of it. Now the only thing she heard was the raging howl of the wind and the squish sound their feet were making. Each squishy step towards the big ugly barn took at least six breaths.
The barn doors suddenly flew open with a large crash. Inside the blonde lady saw three stacks of dry colorless hay and what seemed to be some sort of maggots crawling on the floor.
“How is the baby coming along?” asked the man excitedly in a dreadful way.
“You’re not going to take my baby? Are you?” Panted the pregnant woman.
“Unfortunately I have to,” said the squirmy man stepping on seven of the maggots while entering the tattered barn each with a loud unpleasant squish. “You know that you can’t run so just relax and come into the barn.”
The pregnant lady hesitated for a moment thinking about what she should do. It was obvious her baby would not survive if she ran. Nevertheless, at the same time what was he going to do to the baby and herself? Would he kill them both? The sudden flash of lightning and rumble of thunder made her jump and pant even heavier. She looked at the outside as a tear fell from her left eye. The lightning flashed again and she stepped inside.
