My team is as follows, training for elite 4. I'm planning to evolve my Pupitar and Dragonair before starting. Of course I need to level alot, but anyone know good spots?

Dragonair Level 43 @Dragon Fang

- Dragon Rush
- Dragon Rage
- Extremespeed

Mamoswine Level 37 @Nevermeltice
- Ice Shard
- Mud Bomb
- Ancient Power
- Take Down

Gyarados Level 37 @Mysticwater
- Surf (Should I teach it Hydro Pump?)
- Aqua Tail
- Ice Fang
- Bite

Pupitar Level 36 @Exp.Share
- Dark Pulse
- Payback
- Trash
- Rock Slide

Heracross Level 37 @Nothing
- Close Combat
- Aerial Ace
- Brick Break
- Take down

Ampharos Level 42 @Nothing
- Thunderpunch
- Discharge
- Strength
- Signal Beam

I do have Ho-Oh (HG), Entei and Raikou in my stock. Also:
Typhlosion Level 40 @Charcoal
- Blast Burn
- Lava Plume
- Swift
- Flame Wheel

Tauros Level 34 @Silk Scarf

- Payback
- Horn Attack

Please respond! I need tips to train for elite 4. I don't know if I need Typhlosion cause it hasn't much variaton in moves.

hai gaiz, hao do u liek my cosrola set?

corsola@destiny knot
gentle; hussle
-reflect
-recover
-light screen
-surf/physical attack

Destiny knot is an awful item, replace it with almost anything. Aqua Ring and Recover is very redundant.
Even with Hustle corsola has a problem attacking so a support set works well with it's decent defense.

For the Battle tower, I'm going with this team:

Mesprit @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP, 4 Defense, 252 Speed
Nature: Bold
~ Trick
~ Thunder Wave
~ Charm
~ Flash

Drapion @ Black Sludge
Ability: Battle Armor
EVs: 252 HP, 56 Defense, 196 Special Defense, 4 Speed
Nature: Careful
~ Crunch
~ Acupressure
~ Substitute
~ Rest

Scizor @ Leftovers
Ability: Technician
EV's: 32 HP, 252 Attack, 224 Defense
Nature: Adamant
~Bullet Punch
~Brick Break
~Swords Dance
~Substitute

Mesprit will lead. I'm going to have it utterly disable my first opponent, with pretty much any of it's moves (especially the choice trick combo) until it faints. If the duration of this first part of the battle is long enough, I can paralyze my opponent, and lower it's attack and accuracy stats.

When Mesprit faints, and my opponent is down, I'll bring out Drapion or Scizor to set up with swords dance/acupressure. Then I'll go in for the attack... and I should finish it up that way. Or hide behind substitute and gradually heal with leftovers/black sludge. I'm only going for 100 battle tower wins, so I'm hoping these three will get the job done.

I would say that setting up Swords Dance would be better and faster than hiding behind a substitute.

@ArcanineShrine: it seems as if you want these Pokes rated as a whole team. In that case, make a thread for your team, since it only belongs in here if you want each Poke rated as a stand-alone.

@AlCario: I believe I used that Corsola to sweep the E4, along with a Specs Unown.

You could always go for a TrickSpecs set, or carry Will-O-Wisp/Thunderwave in the last slot to spread some status.

i am looking for some help on completing a moveset for my latest Electivire to aid me in conquering the battle hall. i have taken advantage of being able to use a team of 'Vire to specialise in specific types and now the 4th member has been designed for the ground type, i am looking for advice on what moves she should have however.
this is what i am thinking of at present:

Eleanor @ Choice Specs
Motor Drive
EV: 252 Sp.Atk/ 252 Spd/ 6 HP
Nature: Modest

Moveset: Hidden Power Grass
Flamethrower
Thunderbolt
Psychic

Noctourniquet

∆∆∆
Get yourself a Manectric > Electivire and you're more or less alright there. It'll do for a simple, straightforward Speccer. I don't think that Manectric can learn Psychic, but iirc Extrasensory is available. However, given the fact that Psychic is a pretty awful type in general, you'd probably be better off with Signal Beam. While it may be tempting, do not use Overheat for a fast, powerful attack; a neutral Thunderbolt does more after STAB calculations.

Oh, and make it Timid imo.

^Interested in another set?

Aggron @ Leftovers/Wide Lens
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 48 HP/ 252 Atk/ 4 SpD/ 204 Spe
-Rock Polish
-Head Smash
-Earthquake
-Ice Punch/Aqua Tail

Allows you to outspeed base 120's after one Rock Polish (why 120? No reason; adjust the Spe EVs if you don't want to be that fast, and put those EVs into SpD), maxAtk, Lefties +1, and the last point in SpD. Head Smash is obvious, as is Earthquake. The last move is for something to combat Grounds with; Ice Punch is weaker, but creates coverage resisted by only Bronzong iirc, and is more accurate. Aqua Tail is stronger but has a lower accuracy, which can be remedied by using a Wide Lens (which will increase your accuracy for Head Smash as well). Its coverage is unresisted by all except Breloom, so.

Can someone give me a good Magnezone?
Magnezone@Choice Specs
Timid/Magnet Pull
-Thunderbolt
-Tri Attack

Choosing an electric type is so hard. Magnezone? Rotom? Luxray?

Anyone know any good Shiftry Movesets?

Depends on your team and your preference. It can go physical or special.

Shiftry (Adamant Nature) @Life Orb/Muscle Band
-Swords Dance
-Seed Bomb
-Explosion/Brick Break/Low Kick
-Sucker Punch

Shiftry (Timid Nature) @Life Orb/Wise Glasses
-Nasty Plot
-Energy Ball
-Dark Pulse
-Focus Blast/Icy Wind

^That former Shiftry should undoubtedly be Jolly.
