Innocence Gone

Clockworkz

SURPRISE BUTTSECKS
Finally. I have enough done to warrant a thread. Might as well share the story with you all so you don't get too confuzzled. Hell; someone needs to make a decent comic here. =P

"The year is 2252. Witches, werewolves, vampires and humans all live under the same sky. Though they fight for equality, the other non-human races are being persecuted and treated like animals by the now corrupt Government. Performing bizarre breeding experiments on the other races, the Government hopes to attain the most powerful form of all three inhuman races, and, eventually create their ultimate goal: the Chimera, a being with the genetic makeup of Humans, Werewolves, Vampires and Witches. With their most powerful creation realized, no force on earth would dare oppose the government. However, the 369, an organization of the 4 races banded together, think to change the Government's plans right quick."
(Mad props to Xeogaming, BTW, for this adaptation. You all rock)

Now then:
Cover for Chapter 1
Clockwise, from top: Kevin, Francine, Jack.

Page 1
Page 2
Page 3
Page 4: In Progress

::CAST OF CHARACTERS::
-369 Organization-
Jack Eldridge- The 24 year old pyrokinetic Wiccan is usually the leader of most missions. He has long brown hair, sunglasses and a trench-coat. And a lot of 'tude. =P
Francine Ullric - A fetching 21 year old Werewolf of the dysfuntional Ullric Pack. Her daggars are perfect for hunting vampires. She has and Kevin are very close.
Kevin Katsuyori - Despite his name, he's only a quarter Japanese. This 25 year old gunslinging human is the brute force of the party. He's in love with Francine.

-Aren Household-
Chaos - Age unknown, birthplace unknown, this insane Vampire lusts for blood, and follows his master's wishes. Nothing is deeper than his devotion to his household.
Xeios Ballain - Acting Leader of the Aren Household, Xeios is an older looking vampire with a sophisticated edge. If the current leader does not return, the house will officially go to his name. His house is a rival of the LaMorte Vampire House.

More will be added as characters are intoduced.

**This will be updated weekly or tri-monthly, depending on my workload at my place of employment.**

Geez, take forever. :D

Looks good so far. The guy's hand's a little too small in the last panel of the first page, but aside from that... it looks really interesting.

nice job Clockworkz. I like the story, it's one of the few non-POKeMON comics here, and I can't wait to see how this develops.
*subscribed and 5 star'd*

Omega Pirate

shove it up ya bum!
It's like a cross between Van Hellsing, Underworld and Fullmetal Alchemist. The mansion was very Underworld-esque.

It looks fantastic. There isn't really anything else to say, good job.

Well looks like you already have a fanbase, buddy. I'll have to keep my eye on it as well, but don't you think it needs more color? I know you're going to slap me on AIM for saying that.

I am very curious where you will take this. As usual you are quite exceptional in what you draw...

The plot sounds pretty interesting (the art is well done too), I should say. I'll be sure to keep an eye one this.

The car on the first page is really poorly done, and so is the continuity on the last page. (In the second square, the man has white eyebrows, and in the last square, he has dark eyebrows.) It could also use a lot of shading and coloring. Decent start, though.

Funny how no one ever comments on the positive things.
Especially when this is really, on of the only halfway decent (though, Cousin Woofer is damn good...)(and original) handdrawn comics here >_>
Also, color and shadiong is for posers. Real comic makers do it in black and white :p How many mangas have you read in color? Answer: not many.
An example that black and white comics work.
Heh heh. More are are on the way.
And no; I'm not changing the way I do them for one or two people. *shrug*

You still need shading, though. Every manga has shading. Without it, your pictures look flat and unappealing.
