Interest In Pokemon

Well we all know Pokemon has been on for 10 years, but after it's been so long, has your interest in it increassed or decreased? Discuss here.

I actually think it's decreased. I don't post at Serebii as normally as I used to, and haven't watched the anime in quite some time, though that'll change when the Hoenn league/Battle Frontier saga arrives.

Mine has decreased. All I have any interest in now are the games. If it weren't for competitive battling, which kept me hooked due to the ton of strategizing it required, I likely would not be interested in anything related to Pokemon now.

Mainly just the games keep my interest. The anime has gotten pretty repetitive IMO. I don't post too much in the Pokemon sections here on the forum either. Nonetheless, I still like it. :3

When LoZ: Twilight Princess comes out, that'll get more attention then Pokemon... unless they introduce new ones...

After training my final team and having 60 fully trained pokemon (and maybe getting lugia) I'm not going to bother training anymore...

When the DP versions come out, I'm not going to get them... but I will check up on the new pokemon and post on the boards now and again.

the anime's kinda dullish now, since the greatest episode ever aired (Do I hear a Ralts?) was already shown, and there aren't many amazing episodes to look forward to... but I'll still track Ash's Progress...

While the anime and the cards have fallen out of my favor since my first stint of playing Pokemon, during this second stint I have become more immersed than I ever expected to see myself in the games, while the rest of the Pokemon-related wares, in particular the anime/movies, are merely venues of information now.

Overall, I'd say that from going to having two carts and watching the anime to having just a whole library of games and posting on a Pokemon forum would qualify in an increase in my interest. 8D

It changes. I loved the Anime and Red Version to begin with. The Johto series of the Anime was meh, I liked Silver for a while, but then lost interest. I then had a two year Pokémon gap, until Sapphire came out and I enjoyed it. Leaf Greeen and Colloseum increased my interest, but then it went down. XD didn't really change anything. But I am confident that Diamond and Pearl will raise my interest through the roof once more.

The only thing I do that could be related to Pokemon is the cards, which is the opposite of 98% of this forum. I've got the games in a box in some drawer somewhere right now.

Sometimes I go off Pokemon but now im in to it heaps! I know more then I ever had. And my passion is Absol (duh) which keeps me interested.

It went up and down. Now that I know that some new games are coming out it made it increase xD

I haven't gotten any cards since Christmas - but they keep releasing so many sets - I don't think I will ever collect all of the cards of just one set you know.

I do however know alot now. I know every Pokémon's type and every Pokémon's weakness atleast. Which is good for me so I don't have to worry about type disadvantages

I'm in a weird state. It's decreased in some areas and yet increased in other areas. I used to be interested in the cards though I've completely lost interest. Though I still collect the toys when ever I see them. The video game part has increased since I've grown an interest in the game mechanics of it and am enjoying the Pokemon games. Though this might have something to do with wanting to become a gamedesigner. I also am split between wanting to be an animator. So I still watch the Pokemon anime. In fact I watch every cartoon including the most pathetic. I always analyse the animation more than anything else. Sometimes I analyse story line if it's decent.=)
This has lead me into trying to animate my pictures I used to do therefore it's increased there. Instead of drawing still pictures like I used to, I'm trying to make them move.

Though think any lost of interest is not sheer boredom with me, it is only me trying to relate everything to what I want to be in the future. I think alot of people my age will probably agree.=)
