How long does a game last until the internal battery runs dry. For example is it 200 hours of play or what?

You can still play your game forever even if your Internal Battery runs dry, you just can't d any time related things in the game once your Internal Battery has runs dry.
Edit: The internal Berry does run dry, my brother's just ran dry a month ago.

I read the manual a long time ago and i think it says you may use up to 250 charges per game. That is if you use the SP.

Then again, thats why I have 2 of them in case of emergency.

But it erases your data

So if it runs dry you just can't use the games internal clock, right? If it erases your data I'd rather just keep playing with the dry battery...

I have over 400 hours of play time on it.(Had it since launch, and does the mudslide glitch) and mines hasen't run dry yet.

You've described the Berry Glitch, a flaw in the original Ruby/Sapphire games that resulted in the internal clock stopping one year after you start your first game. The internal battery that runs the clock may run dry independantly of any updates to the Berry Glitch.

If the internal battery does run dry, you can continue to play the game without time-based events or you can replace it. If you send your game to Nintendo to be fixed, they will just replace your cart with a new one, meaning you will lose your saved game. If you're handy with electronics, it is possible to open up the cart and replace the battery yourself, although it is a pain to separate the battery from the contacts and you will void your warranty and put the internal components of your cart at risk by doing this.

does the internal battery affecy evnts such as growing berries, lottery, berry master and secret bases? cause if it does, when my ruby stopped doing those things, all i had to do was mix records with another game.

it affects all time-based things: berries, berry master, shoal cave, mirage island, the time, etc for example if mirage island appears the day your battery runs dry you get to keep mirage island 4ever :)

I've had my SP for at least 2 1/2 years and it is completely fine.
