Adventure into the unknown. A pokemon RPG.





In a land south to the regions known is a large mass of land. A land filled with deep jungles and large forests, winding rivers and deep lakes, rolling hills and colossal mountains. A land uninhabited by humans. Know one has ever explored the place. Most people just assumed that no pokemon would ever live there so no one ever bothered with he island until now. A recent helicopter trip over the island noticed a moving, living pokemon that quickly ran way. The pokemon still remains unknown which sparked of recent conversations and news articles about the island. Now, a group of trainers have been issued with a letter which says.



Dear trainer,
Your training skills have been recognised by us and wish for you to take part in a expedition. You may have heard of recent news of an island unknown to everyone. An island which seems to be inhabited with a maybe new species of pokemon. We want you to go to this island with a pokemon which we will give to you and explore the island. We will also give you the following items.



Escape rope x6
Max Potion x8
Pokeball x20


Pokemon will also be on this mission which have been specially trained to survive in the hatshest environments.

The island is split into 9 sections.


North- The north is mainly grass land and has very little in it. Although this is where the pokemon was spotted, it is not certain that the pokemon is here. There is also some woodland but not much in the south east of the north section.

North East- The whole place is mainly woodland but there is small pockets of grass land. A river runs through it.


East- It has some of the woodland from the north east section but this place seems to be a more marsh land place.


South East- This place is all a big rain forest and is the hottest part of the island. This place seems like it would be hard to get through but is accessible.


South- Mostly rain forest again but seems to change more to a grassy hill area. Possibly the easiest place to travel across.


South west- This place is basicly just long grass. It seems to rain here a lot more. A lake sits in the middle of it.

West and north west- Alarge lake stretches across this grassland. This place will be hard to travel across with out a boat or surf.
Middle. A large rocky mountain sits here. It also snows here.

Species: Houndoom

Description: Not much different from a usual houndoom. He is quit small which is good as he can manoeuvre easier

Example:"Well Justin, its another fine day in Petalberg" Daniel said to Justin. "Im going to set of to Petalberg woods. Today is saturday and im taking part in the bug catching contest. Wanna come".

"Nah, make it a miss for me. Im going to stay here ok" Justin replyed.
"Ok, ya dont know what your missing" Daniel said as he walked of to Petalberg woods.

Daniel finally reached the entrance to petalberg woods.
"Here for the bug catching contest" said a man in a green uniform
"Yeah" said Daniel as he handed over 50 poke dollars. " Here we go. Im gonna ca....." Daniel was quickly cut of by the man.
"Only one pokemon allowed in the contest" explained the man
" Whah, i cant do that" said Daniel "Well, ok if thats the rules. Pikachu stay with the man".

"PIKA!!!" Pikachu shouted angrily
"Dont worry, i'll keep him safe" said the man as Daniel ran in to the woods.

"Its dark in here, i can hardly see" thought Daniel to himself
A sudden rustle in a bush behind him caught his attention.
"Ok this is scary, go tauros" he whispered
Then a large red pokemon came jumping out of the bush. Daniel imedatly recognised it as ariados.
"Ok, tauros tackle it" comanded daniel.
Tauros jumped in to action and ran towards the ariados. Ariados quickly leaped up in the air and doged the tauros's tackle.
"Ok, tauros i've got a plan, ariados will come down to tackle you, doge it at the last moment then quickly use stomp on it" Daniel said in hope.

The ariados launched itself down at the tauros and tauros dodged it at the last second exactly like its trainer said. Then, like it understood Daniels every words, it used stomp.

"Yeah, pokeball go" said Daniel throwing a ball at the floored ariados.
The ariados was caught easily.

"Great work tauros" he said as he patted the tauros on the shoulder.

Description: Sepia looks like any normal Aipom except she is a dark pink colour instead of the average purple.

(i rarely ever use first person but i will for this example. it's kind of given me an idea to start a fic about an Aipom. This will be in it i guess)

I ran through the forest as the branches snapped as they hit my face. Angering a group of Mankey was a bad idea. Especially around their evolution season. I had around fifty angry Primape after me and they showed no sign of stopping. I lifted my tail into the air as i jumped and grabbed onto a branch of a tree thanks to my paw like tail. This has saved my life numerous times. The sun was shining straight through a hole in the tops of the trees and i was feeling a sensationof power flowing into me. This meant one thing; from being so scared i was charging a Solarbeam attack. As i heard the monkey pokemon below me i dropped down fully charged. They turned to me as i opened my mouth to release the attack. I was blinded by my own power as a glowing white orb was produced in my mouth. The Primape stood scared stiff for their safety. I felt the ball become smaller as i opened my eyes to see the ball creating a beam that had knocked out every last Primape. I closed my mouth and walked away.

I was aproaching a river where i got my food from mainly. When i was young i'd lived here only on top of a cliff and the only way was down to where i am now. I once fell down there and was unable to get back up. Around this time every day one of my old friends would send some fruit down the river and drop down the waterfall. That was how i got my food. The fruit on the cliff was always ripe and juicy. Nothing could get any better than life up there. Sadly untill evolution season for Trapinch came round my friend was stuck on the cliff without any chance to come down still living as she was deathly afraid of water. I guess i just had to wait another month or so and i could leave this forest and live somewhere else away from here or maybe back up on the cliff. I would just have to keep on waiting.

Description: He is a little bit bigger than an average Scizor and his is black with all the regular markings.

Rajion's Skarmory soared through the sky above Fortree a a high speed trying to make it to the grassland before the rainstorm,coming from thw est, arrived. It saw a flash of lightning and a crack of thunder and screeched going into a divebomb outside of Fortree. It regained itself and landed easily heaving a heavy metalic sigh as the first raindrops started to fall making a small 'ping' sound off of its head and wings.

Rajion walked down a steep hill looking for one of the pokemon that would complete his team. His long jet black hair hung all together and on his face since of the downpour that started shortly after he and his Skarmory landed. He like his clothes were soaked. He trudged through the thick wet grass for about ten minutes before hearing what he wanted to hear. It was a small sound but it was THAT sound none the less, a dash spreading the grass as it brushed up against iys white fur. then he heard the click clack of small claws and jumping from one rock to another. Then a deep voice broke the steadyness of the rain fall. "Absol......" said the voice sounding intimidading as it carried out the last symbol trying to unnearve Rajion. Rajion turned around at the sight before him, a almost fully grown Absol looking down from its perch of rocks.
"Wow as they say, they are beautiful, but what I am interested in, if they really do bring the bad luck with them....." His voice trailed off as he saw a bolt of lightning stuck the wood around him making a tree fall over with a loud crash. "Go, Scyther!" The mantis was released slashing its scythe like claws downwards as it came out. "Fury Cutter!" Rajion yelled as he pointed to the Absol. Scyther obidiently flew upwards directly at the Absol with its claws flashing as Absol stood there. Then the Absol reared its head up and went into a punce position as its fur bristled up charged with electricity. It let out its cry and a huge lighrningbolt came down upon Scyther, singing it, and K.O.ing it instantly. Rajion returned Scyther and let out Wooper.
"Thunder eh? well lets see how good you do against a ground type! Wooper, Mud Shot!" Wooper flung a giant ball of mud from the earth at Absol knocking it down from its perch but it landed on its feet all the same. Absol's fur bristled up again and let out another Thunder hitting Wooper direcly but causing no damage. "Go Wooper, finish this, Water Gun!" Wooper let out a powerful stream of water from its mouth knocking Absol into the rocks. Rajion threw a pokeball at the Absol. Absol was captured instantly from its lack of energy and its fatigue. "Good job Wooper." Rajion said as he patted Woopers head as it started to glow in a yellow light........

Name:Adzie

Description: Adzie has dark ginger hair, usually flat with a short gel'd quif emerging from the front, and reaching into the air. He's physically well trained, and from the look ofhis body, it shows. He usually wears his blue and white jacked, accompanied by his dark blue jeans. He carries his prize pokemon around his neck on a string, to keep it close at hand at all times. Underneath his jacket, he wears a black shirt with Konoha-style leaf symbol in a centre position.

Example: Adzie pulled off the pokeball from around his neck, and lauched it at the ground.
"C'mon out Bulbasaur!" The green creature emerged from it's ball, and growled softly at the sight of his master.

Adzie pointed at the reason for calling out his trusty pokemon. A squirtle stood prowdly by a lake, buffing up it's chest to show that it wasn't afraid.

"Bulbasaur, use razor leaf!" Bulbasaur fired spinning razor-sharp leaves at the turtle, which hastily withdrew into it's shell.

"Pick it up with vine whip, then toss it into the air!" Bulbasaur obeyed Adzie's command, and the Squirtle, which had been shielding itself from damage, found itself hanging high in the shy, waiting to be throw into the air. It speedily shot bubbles at Bulbasaur, who only seemed happy to receive this treatment. Squirtle was slammed into the ground, and when it tried to regain it's stance, it couldn't, and fell.

"Ok Bulbasaur, that's enough." Adzie recalled his pokemon. He pulled out another pokeball from his belt. "Pokeball, go!"

A flash of red and white, a glistening white light. *rattle* *rattle* A red light.

"Yeah! I caught a Squirtle!" Adzie jumped for joy at his latest capture, and excellent addition to his team!

Desrception:Baron von Barron has pale-white skin & a long, curly mustaghe(Sp?). His hair was flat & felt a bit crust & it was so black it looked blue when the light hit it. His fingers are always covered in golden rings. He has very pronounced blue eyes with a spyglass over the right one. He wears a black robe over his white shirt & pants along with his black, shiny shoes. He always has a metal cane with him.

Joseph looked over at Chandler. He seemed like a nice guy. " He is so lucky to have a Ralts..." Joseph said to no one in particular. "Beebo!" something squealed. He looked down to see a small Ralts in the grass. "Flames? You ready?" he asked the Torchic in his backpack. "Tor-Torchic!" Flames happily said. "Flames! Go!" he yelled. "Torchic!" Flames replied. The terrified Ralts simply growled at Flames. "Okay... Flames! Use Scratch on the Ralts!" he commanded. Flames ran forward and brought his talon down on the small Ralts. "Raaaalts!" it cried. The small Ralts ran right at Flames knocking Flames down. "Flames are you alright?" Joseph asked him. "Torchic!" Flames replied, jumping up apparently unharmed. "Try another Scratch on it!" he told Flames. Flames, once again brought his talon down on the Ralts weakening it considerably. "Good job!" he praised Flames while pulling a Pokeball out of his bag. "Okay here it goes!" he said as he flung the small red and white ball at the Ralts. There was a flash of light as the Ralts popped into the ball. The ball shook. Once. Twice. Three times. The Ralts was caught. "Flames! We found you a new friend!" he yelled happily to the Torchic. "Tor-Tor-Tor-Tor-Tor-Chic! Tor-Tor-Tor-Tor-Tor-Chic!" Flames said, celebrating their victory. "I wonder how Chandler is doing...." he said. "Flames!" he called and the Torchic ran obediently over to him and jumped on Joseph's shoulder. "Good Flames!" he praised as he walked towards where Chandler was.

Name: Pakita
Species: Raticate
Description: Pakita's fur is more beige in colour than tan--in fact it blends right in with the mountain rocks. Her fur is rather soft, and her teeth are slightly smaller than usual. On the inside, Pakita is kind of sweet--she doesn't really intend to hurt anyone unless she's in a battle, and she's very friendly as well. Her luck is pretty good too, and she stands right in the middle between bravery and cowardice.

Name: Shitaria
Species: Altaria
Description: Appearance-wise, Shitaria is slightly bigger than the normal Altaria. And, her feathers have a hint of aqua colour. Personality-wise, Shitaria never really pays much attention to reality--she literally keeps her head in the clouds. She takes things as they come, just like riding on the wind. Also, like most Altaria, she loves to sing and does a pretty good job of it as well.

Name: Nuo
Species: Quagsire
Description: She pretty much looks like a normal Quagsire, only a tad bit smaller. Personality-wise, Nuo can be careless, and she tends to underestimate her abilities. She also can be quite humble, and she doesn't take compliments very well. Her opinion of herself is kind of neutral, as is her usual opinion of others. Her personality just has many shades of gray...

Name: Michiru
Species: Mime Jr. (Manene)
Description: She looks pretty much like a normal Mime Jr. Of the group, Michiru is definitely the most emotional. Most times, she either feels very happy or very sad, and she can switch between them often. Her mind works constantly and quickly, so she is thinking or talking to herself or others quite frequently. Often times her mind can only be blank during meditation or sleep.

RPG Sample for all Pokemon:
Pakita, Nuo, Shitaria, and Michiru had just walked into the jungle, mostly in search of food. They had heard rumors about there being magnificent berries in this jungle, and that the jungle itself was nice and warm in the normally cold winter afternoon on the island. None of them seemed to be too tired yet, nor so hungry that they could collapse any moment--they were generally in good spirits as they journeyed farther and farther into the jungle's depths.

After a few minutes of walking, an eerie sight beheld them: pairs of red eyes gleaming out from the distant darkness. There were twenty or so of these eye pairs, but no group members panicked at this sight--probably just some Pokemon that were curious about the visitors. (After all, Raticate and Mime Jr. and Altaria and Quagsire normally lived in non-jungle habitats.)

But unfortunately, these red eyes did not belong to friendly natives. One by one, these red eyes turned into Mankey that ran out and attacked the group.
"Chiiru!" Luckily Shitaria could fly, as she did to avoid the Mankey. Unfortunately though, one Mankey had jumped onto her back and was Karate Chopping it.
"Raticate! Raticate!" Pakita kept jumping out of the way of Fury Swipes and Low Kicks, and she made occasional Quick Attacks at the more annoying Mankey. It was a good thing she never got hit, as she was weak against Fighting attacks...
"Quag! Sire! Quag! Sire!" Nuo couldn't jump high nor fly, so she kept swinging her tail at the opposing Mankey to keep them away. Luckily she was thicck-skinned and therefore had good defense. Even the Mankey that Karate Chopped her on the head didn't seem to hurt her too much--she fought back by Headbutting those Mankey.
"Maa... mime!" Telekinesis proved to be the most effective way of repelling the Mankey, as this was what Michiru used. About five Mankey at a time were repeled by the waves of psychic energy that came from a Confusion attack; occasionally a Mankey walked away dizzily and slammed itself into a coconut tree, causing coconuts to drop on other Mankey's heads.

Eventually, it was Michiru who got rid of all the Mankey--Fighting-type Pokemon were indeed quite vulnerable to psychic attacks. And, when they were all done, Michiru, Pakita, Shitaria, and Nuo celebrated--especially when they saw all those coconuts on the ground. In fact, there were exactly four of them! So the four victorious Pokemon each took a coconut, cracked it open with their teeth, beak, tail, or psychic powers, and drank the milk inside--with a toast to a well-fought battle.

--NOTES--
**A side note: Pakita comes straight from Leaf Green--she's a level 45 Raticate I caught right at the beginning of the game. Her personality as shown kind of developed as I trained with her in the game.
**Nuoo is Quagsire's Japanese name.
**I hope using Mime Jr/Manene is OK... if not, I can make Michiru a Kirlia or something instead.

Description: A thirteen year-old boy. His dark brown hair covers his dark eyes and he is considerably tall and lanky. His favourite attire is a light yellow hooded jacket and brown cargo pants. He also wears white basketball shoes and a red and black cap. Under his jacket he has a plain white shirt, He carries his pokeballs at his belt like most trainers, he is quite skinny and is a naturally calm and relaxed boy. He is great around pokemon as he seems to get on with them so much more than he does with people.

My life was a disaster. I originally lived in the oasis of Orre, where I drank the water from the oasis. Yes, everything was perfect, until that fateful day. I was just relaxing in a tree when a strange-looking car pulled up beside me. Then two people jumped out of the car, grabbed me, and threw me in the car. After an hour, we arrived in a strange lab. Those people grabbed me and walked into the lab. Then they put me in a cage for something weird. Then the next day, I heard a crashing noise. Suddenly, this golden Nidoking came crashing through the lab, and freed me. The Nidoking offered to help me out of here, and I accepted. During the rampage, some freaky liquids spilled all over me and the Nidoking. One of those goons tried to stop us, but we strangely said "No way." Apparantly those liquids gave us the ability to talk. So we busted out of the lab, then the Nidoking told me I did a good job, and I told him "Not bad yourself."

(ah, too bad I probably can't be a Zapdos, as that's the best replacement for Kazukurai...)

**You said there are new Pokemon on the island. I would very much like to know what those new Pokemon are! The reason why I made up Pokemon is because I wanted to RP the new Pokemon that trainers would be looking for on the island, so Pakita could protect them and stuff. If you can tell me what those new Pokemon are, maybe I can RP one of them instead.

Name: Cedric McPherson
Description: Cedric wears a long, brown pinstriped coat that drags along the ground. The ends are torn and ripped but he doesn't mind. His hair is black with streaks of blue here and there. Like the rest of his appearance, it's very untidy as he reckons appearances don't matter. Cedric's shirt appears unwashed, with stains of all sorts on it. It's not tucked in either. A half tied tie sits around his neck. The tie is is coloured like a chessboard. Instead of wearing shoes, on his feet are a pair of beige sandals. Cedric carries his Pokemon in the inside of his coat in one of his many pockets.

Cedric paws his dirty fingers through his rowdy hair. Rolling over to the other side of the bed, the researcher readjusted his pillow and tapped the alarmclock before nodding off again. It wasn't very often that he woke up late. Cedric believed that the most active time for the mind was the morning and it'd be a sin to waste it. However, he had little choice about weither he wished to stay in bed longer. A small chirp from the window sill shattered Cedric's peaceful dreams and brought something much more important to his attention. A Pidgey had perched on the windowframe with a small scrap of paper stuck in it's beak. Taking the note out of it's beak, Cedric's Psyduck batted the bird on the head and watched it as it flew off into the calm blue sky.

Psyduck poked his friend in the ribs as if to provoke him to wake up. Placing the note ontop of Cedric's stomach as he woke up, Psyduck pointed at it again. "Whats the matter, mate?" Cedric asked, wiping the sleep from his eyes, "Can't you see that I'm ... what's this?" His keen blue eyes scanned the note. Very interesting he thought, rubbing his chin in thought, We must move at once. Screwing the paper up into a tiny ball and throwing it into the corner, Cedric shuffled out of bed and dragged a sock half on before jumping towards the window and getting the other one on. Psyduck found this rather amusing but he didn't mention this. "Pichu!" Cedric cried out of the window to a small, yellow creature resting on a nearby roff in a nest, "Get moving! I have some business and your'e needed!"

Gazing at Pichu leapt down the buliding's side and run across the road, Cedric sighed as he toke in the wonderful realaxing ocean infront of him. "Psyduck" he said to his life long companion, "Get ready for some fun."
