iPod troubles.

Ok, firstly, I use 2 computers to update my iPod. One, is with LimeWire and stuff, so may have viruses etc; The second one, is my laptop, which is always virus free. [Might be a factor in iPod's dilema]

Now, this just happened yesterday, and has NEVERRR happened before.

I plugged my iPod into the Laptop to add some songs, and this message comes up after I add the songs (I saw the "Now copying 1 of 1 songs to iPod" message, so it was cool.)

The iPod ''Link'' cannot be updated. The file or directory is corrupted and un-readable.

So I clicked OK, and unplugged the iPod ignoring the message. Thinking that the songs had been put it, as it said, I checked, and they weren't in.

So I tried again, and same thing happens.

I also get this message at the bottom.

now, i'm totally lost.

can somebody PLEASE help me..

Thanks heapsss

well im no tech wiz but you could try this, go to the file where laptop says its corrupt. And delete it. And also download iTunes as that is the proper updater for the iPod.

I went to my neighbours house, and plugged it in. Then, Ijust put some of her songs on my iPod, and it worked. Then, I plugged it back into my computer, and it was working as normal..
