Is there a guide to the IQ aspect in Mystery Dungeon? With information on where to find gummies, detailed information on IQ skills, etc?

MNU spreads lies
Gummis are found sporratically throughout the dungeons and with rescue requests, but you can find, say, Red Gummis more in Mt. Blaze and Magma Cavern, and Green and Grass Gummis more in Howling Forest.

Black Gummi -- Preferred by Dark-Types. Found mainly in Magma Cavern.
Blue Gummi -- Preferred by Water-Types. Found mianly in Lapis Cave, Mt. Freeze Peak, and Silver Trench.
Brown Gummi -- Preferred by Ground-Types. Found mainly in Mt. Freeze Peak, Howling Forest, and Stormy Sea.
Clear Gummi -- Preferred by Ice-Types. Found mainly in Lapis Cave, Sky Tower, and Stormy Sea.
Gold Gummi -- Preferred by Psychic-Types. Found mainly in Mt. Freeze Peak and Stormy Sea.
Grass Gummi -- Preferred by Grass-Types. Found mainly in Sinister Woods, Uproar Forest, Howling Forest, and Stormy Sea.
Gray Gummi -- Preferred by Rock-Types. Found mainly in Mt. Thunder Peak, Mt. Freeze Peak, Magma Cavern, and Sky Tower.
Green Gummi -- Preferred by Bug-Types. Found mainly in Sinister Woods, Uproar Forest, Howling Forest, and Stormy Sea.
Orange Gummi -- Preferred by Fighting-Types. Found mainly in Mt. Steel, Sinister Woods, Howling Forest, and Stormy Sea.
Pink Gummi -- Preferred by Poison-Types. Found mainly in Sinister Woods, Mt. Thunder Peak, Sky Tower, and Stormy Sea.
Purple Gummi -- Preferred by Ghost-Types. Found mainly in Sky Tower and Stormy Sea.
Red Gummi -- Preferred by Fire-Types. Found mainly in Mt. Thunder Peak, Mt. Blaze Peak, and Magma Cavern.
Royal Gummi -- Preferred by Dragon-Types. Found mainly in Silent Chasm and Stormy Sea.
Silver Gummi -- Preferred by Steel-Types. Found mainly in Mt. Freeze Peak, Magma Cavern, and Stormy Sea.
Sky Gummi -- Preferred by Flying-Types. Found mainly in Sinister Woods, Mt. Freeze Peak, Sky Tower, and Stormy Sea.
White Gummi -- Preferred by Normal-Types. Found mainly in Mt. Steel, Sinister Woods, Mt. Freeze Peak, and Stormy Sea.
Yellow Gummi -- Preferred by Electric-Types. Found mainly in Sinister Woods, Mt. Freeze Peak, Howling Forest, and Stormy Sea.

As for IQ skills, they're divided into eight groups and you can only have a limited number of them active at one time. You can have all of the Standard Group skills active at once, but only one skill from each of the other seven groups can be active at the same time.

STANDARD GROUP
  • Item Catcher (Starting skill): Can pick-up and catch items.
  • Course Checker (Starting skill): Only uses moves or throws items if there are no walls or friends in the way.
  • Item Master (Starting skill): Uses items when necessary.
  • Nontraitor (2 IQ): If confused, won't hit friends with attacks.
  • Status Checker (2 IQ): Won't use status-causing moves on an opponent that already has the same condition.

GROUP A
  • Type-Advantage Master (4 IQ): Raises critical hit rate against opponents with a type disadvantage.
  • Quick Dodger (4 IQ): Evasion increases.
  • Sure-Hit Attacker (9 IQ): Normal attack never misses.

GROUP B
  • Exclusive Move-User (Starting skill): Won't use normal attack.
  • PP Checker (1 IQ): Won't use move with 0PP or linked moves that are about to be delinked.

GROUP C
  • All-Terrain Hiker (8 IQ): Can cross magma, water, and chasms.
  • Super Mobile (12 IQ): Can cross any terrain and destroy walls.

GROUP D
  • Dedicated Traveler (Starting skill): Prefers to move rather than use skills or items.
  • Efficiency Expert (2 IQ): When facing multiple opponents, attacks the one with the lowest HP.
  • Weak-Type Picker (4 IQ): When facing multiple opponents, attacks the one with a type disavdantage.
  • Exp. Go-Getter (6 IQ): When facing multiple opponents, attacks the one worth the most EXP.

GROUP E
  • Trap Avoider (4 IQ): Usually avoids Wonder Tiles and visible traps.
  • House Avoider (11 IQ): Won't walk into Monster Houses.

GROUP F
  • Self-Curer (3 IQ): Recovers from adnormal status faster.
  • Nonsleeper (5 IQ): Resists Yawning and being put to sleep.
  • Energy Saver (6 IQ): Belly decreases 25% slower.

GROUP G
  • Lava Evader (7 IQ): Won't walk across magma.
  • Trap Seer (10 IQ): Won't trigger consealed traps.
