Better then you
No, I am not. I don't see the point in getting a new DS that is almost identical to the original. Although it may not look better,I like the original the best.

I dunno. It's a bit lighter and a little smaller, right? If it gets easier to play one handed, I might try to pick one up. I have 2 DS units already though. If I do buy one, it'll be way down the line.

I'm thinking about it. After playing a while of AC my hand gets tired and I have to take like a five minute break so it would be nice to hve a lighter DS I heard its smaller as well which is nice since I can't fir my DS in my pockets right now..

There's only one reason why you would want to play a game one-handed. .0_o.

Since my DS is pretty scratched up, I'll get one along the line. Seeing as how my DS is still playable, Revolution is still higher priority for me.

Ah ha. But either way, you'll have to use two hands if you need the stylus though won't you? That does seem kinda useless.

I'd consider getting either of them. But judging by the fact Nintendo seems to make rip off duplicates of their own handhelds, I don't think I'll get it. Also, I have no money. :p

I may, I'm considering purchasing a PSP but this looks oh so tempting. The thing is I already have a DS so PSP would make more sense purchasing than a lite. If I ever purchase a lite, I'll sell my regular DS for it when lite recieves a reasonable price drop.

Just thought I would add in that it's easier to control the stylus if I have 1 hand free, rather than having to let go with one hand and then use the stylus to operate. Most games it's not a problem. Some games ask you to switch quickly to a stylus though and it can be awkward sometimes. Resident Evil requires you to use a Stylus when using a knife and fighting some enemies. It gives you a couple seconds to get ready though. I know I've said it a lot, but I REALLY like the new Resident Evil: Deadly Silence for the DS.) For those zombie lovers, it's a great game.

the only really good reason i'm getting it is i don't have a DS yet and I wanna get the newest one, if I had a DS already, I woudn't get it.

I probably will - since my DS screen is scratched and my DS looks kinda beaten up. Also - if its more comfortable to my hands I might get one. Out of the colors released, I think I would get the Navy one, it looks kool.

I'd only get one if it's free, if my DS breaks, or if I somehow come into a lot of money. I would get the blue one, but I think that Nintendo should of waited a longer to create a new DS.

If I get one it will definately be white. I really did want the downsized DS to be available in black but I'll have to make due with the current assortment. Enamel Navy was like a spit in the face, blueish black just doesn't cut it. I always prefer my handheld electronics (ipod, digital camera, gameboy) in white, black or silver which is part of the reason why I despised the colors for the gameboy line, well up until recently (I had a silver SP, I have a silver DS). I hated that tutti-frutti thing nintendo was doing with their handhelds since the GB pocket (I ended up having a green GB pocket, a purple GBC (it was my brother's) and a purple GBA, WTH). I am glad that nintendo finally is starting to create a simple and elegant pallet, we just need a shiny black model, like black ipod nano's color configuration.
