Is anyone tired of the music used in the background?

I'm serious, they play the Advance Adventure instrumental EVERY f*cking episode whenever Ash and the gang faces Team Rocket. It's super annoying and it's not catchy. I mean come on don't you think PUSA can get rid of 4kids mistakes and make better music than this? Would it hurt to hear an instrumental of the English Battle Frontier theme?

When they face TR, they should use a like "evil" kind of music, so you know that they are actually an evil team. So yes, it does get annoying.

Uh, Advance Adventure's instrumental is far more inspiring than any of the English openings during a battle.

Yes I'm tired of the music, but what can you do? PUSA seems to be keeping some music, but it does continue using cues from 4Kids.

It would be better if it didn't try to be a carbon copy of 4Kids, because fans don't want that. All we can do is hope their listening and give us the original backround music some day.

I wish they could somehow use Japanese songs for inserts, but like karaoke version...

Or keep the words (hey, I don't see anyone freaking out when BoBoBo or Naruto does it!)

It sure isn't inspirational when you hear it for 2 kajillion episodes in a row. Also, the English theme is catchy to me. "It's a battle, win or lose" It was stuck in my head one time =P

Um, they do. They have a very good (and new) piece of dramatic music for TR in the DP series, and they usually would have the Team Rocket theme from the games in the older episodes.

The happy music played when Ash was winning, obviously.

um if i'm not mistaken that advanced adventure tune is the correct tune, thats the tune that is in the origonal, which of cource i have no comlpaints with music wise. so i don't mind it, although like you said Kojiro it would be nice to hear the japanese openings, or mabey if they realy don't want a song that has japanese lyrics, then make an english vocal. if they can do that the i will be satisfied! also waiting for justin to say something stupid about it ruining the shows rep...

to speak of the original and not the dub... if there is a piece of music I'm getting tired of, it's Pokemon Symphonic Medley. God knows how many times they played that thing near the end of Advanced Generation... thankfully, it seems to be void in DP, for the time being. Right now, there don't seem to be any lyrical songs inserted in the DP episodes at all, but I'm willing to bet that, give it about 20 episodes, they'll be playing a past opening/ending themes during some point in every other episode, at least one of which will be run into the ground ("Ready, Go!", "Pokemon Symphonic Medley", maybe "Battle Frontier" to a lesser extent, etc.), just like they did with AG.

Bwuh? That music SHOULD be there as its from the original, it's the other music that needs some changing.

Not so much. There is one part of the Advance Adventure instrumental that is particularly excellent, so I wouldn't mind if it were in every episode.

I can't deny that it would be nice if the creators went back and tried to work in older background music, though. There are some great pieces that are nowhere to be seen these days, especially battle music.

While we're on the topic of background music here, I'd like to know something; Am I the only one who is finds the increasing usage of movie music a tad annoying? Now, I know some of the stuff heard in pokémon's more epic outings can sound really impressive and all, but it seems that more recently they appear to favour it over original tunes produced for the show, and those based on the games.

I'd kill an entire ant colony just to hear the Fortree City music used in the show once again, or the Magma/Aqua battle theme to be pumping along during an intense fight scene.

In DP i've been hearing alot of game music (the Galaxy Encounter) then Movie Music (we got some 8th movie tracks, but those rule!).

guys, I'm not saying that I hate the original music. I'm saying one particular track is getting really repetitive and annoying. I'm also saying PUSA has to stop using 4kids music, and that I feel they can do better at making music like the original Japanese composers can. You guys are taking what I said out of context.
