is dorapion evolved from gligar?

well i was kinda wondering if it was a evolution of gligar..i jsut wanted to know what others think!

Doubt it. Even though they look kind of similar, one is a Ground/Flying and one is a Poison/Dark. I wouldn't expect BOTH of Gligar's types to change upon evolution, and I can't readily recall an instance of that happening with any current Pokemon.

Not rly. Why?

1. As Reggie Steele said, no Pokémon has ever had an evolution in which BOTH types change.

2. Usually, a Pokemon will evolve to grow wings, not the other way around. It'd be odd to be born with wings and then lose 'em, don't ya think? I mean it's not impossible, just doesn't seem very reasonable.

Yeah, its a Gligar evolution! Just like Buoysel is related to Eevee and Espeon because it's tail splits when nearing the tip! And how it's also related to both Vulpix and Ninetails because it apparantly looks like a fox!

They may look similer but actualy are different types. Gligar is Flying/Ground and Dorapion is Dark/Poison, so there.
