Is grass?

I am immensly noob these days... Anyways are grass type attacks psyical attacks or special attacks? I know its noob but i cant find it anywhere.

Elemental attacks are always special. Unless it's something like fire punch or blaze kick, I can't think of any grass attacks like that so I'd say most, if not all, grass attacks are special.

Grass type moves themselves use Special Attack. A move like Vine Whip actually hits the foe with a part of said Pokemon's body thus making it a physical contact move, but still uses Special Attack. A move like razor leaf is a distance move that means like a projectile thrown at the foe still using Special Attack.

to clarify, this person's a bit mistaken. blaze kick and fire punch, and other special-type physical contact moves are still special attacks.

the move solar beam is a secial attack
the move leaf blade is a physical attack

moves that dont physicaly touch the pokemon are special attacks

moves that make contact with the pokemon is a physical attack
like body slam

cameron, please, don't post if you don't know what you're talking about. leaf blade is a special attack, just like every other grass/water/fire/ice/dragon/dark/electric/psychic attack, and it uses the pokemon's special attack stat to figure out how much damage it does.

contact/noncontact is an entirely separate category, used only for figuring out whether abilities like static or rough skin trigger.

Disguise by its type, there is Special Attack and Physical Attack.
Special Attack is the types that the power is affected by user's Sp.Atk stats, and Physical Attack's power is affected by user's Attack stats.
Disguise by how it used, there is Physical Move and Non-Physical Move.
Physical Moves can be affected by Static, Cute Charm, Bright Powder or King's Rock. Non-Phisical Attack can't.

And just like another poster said, Grass type is Special Attack. But not all grass moves is non-physical move.

Here are the types:

Physical --- Normal, Fighting, Poison, Ground, Flying, Bug, Rock, Ghost, and Steel.

Special --- Fire, Water, Electric, Grass, Ice, Psychic, Dragon, and Dark.

Just to clear things up:
Special Attack types are Fire, Water, Electric, Grass, Ice, Psychic, Dragon, and Dark.
Physical Attack types are Normal, Fighting, Poison, Ground, Flying, Bug, Rock, Ghost, and Steel.
Direct Attacks are moves such as Fire Punch, Pound, etc. that directly touch the attack's target, hence the name "Direct Attack." Note that this is not an actual type, it simply classifies the attack's susceptibility to things like Rough Skin.
Indirect Attacks are moves like Flamethrower, Icy Wind, etc. that do not touch the attack's target(s), hence the name "Indirect Attack."
Direct and Indirect attacks are NOT called physical and non-physical moves.
This will surely help a whole lot.
