Even though this works, it takes a LONG time to catch 36 Hoppips. I wouldn't reccomend this unless you have lots of Pokesnacks and time.

You'd still need to find something to trade them for.

It's not that hard to come up with ideas to max the tempo among the regular Shadows. I think I only had two circles of Hoppips when I maxed all nine.
