Welcome to the new Hack Check thread ^^;

This is the thread where you can have your pokemon checked to see if it's hacked or not. (Old Thread.)​

Rules.​

• Post only if you have a question about a pokemon you have being hacked or not, or if you can say whether or not a pokemon is hacked.
• Don't try to trade hacked pokemon here. That's against the rules of SPPf.
• Do note that all DP events are set to be non-shiny.

I recently got a shiny vulpix, where all the stats and specs checked out (it had 29-31 IVs in Satk and Speed, so I was bit iffy..). However, it lost the nickname that I had him give it once I evolved it into a Ninetales on my game. Is this an uncommon glitch, or an illegit pokemon? :/

Well, I know for a fact that in Pokes@v, you can change the nickname. But unless there is an option there to specify if it is an ACTUAL nickname, when it evolves, it will go to the original nickname (Ninetales).

So this vulpix is either:

a) Hacked
or
b) Modified to an extent with the Pokes@v.

Can a MYSTRY Mew have a blue colored OT? I've only seen red OTs and was wondering if a blue OT was still legit.

If it had its usual name (Vulpix) in another language, then it would change to your language when you evolved it. If you specifically requested a nickname and it changed back to Ninetales, then I'm pretty sure it was corrupted via Pokesav.

I went to the event myself; the one I received in Emerald has a blue OT. It's entirely random (my Sapphire received a red OT even though it was the same game pak giving out Mew) so yeah, your Mew is probably legit.

Almost all events have blue and red OTs. Sometimes they seem to be more rare, but that's only because events circulate through a community and then members become convinced they can only look like what everyone else has.

Serebii posted an ALAMOS Darkrai pic when the event first happened with a Blue OT, but in the original Hacked thread, many people were claiming it could only be Red.

It's the birth island event, just make sure it says, arrived at, not apprently arrived at, and to Vekachu, it says "Apparently had a fateful encounter at lv 50."

I just looked at a list of known hacked OT/ID# and I don't see ABC on there. Do you have a source for it? An event list or something of the sort?

Got a dialga off gts, pretty sure its fake because it says "apparently met at lv. 70." but i wasnt sure if that was because i got it through a trade at level 70 or not.

1. I don't know. You have the Pokes, not me. I just gave you the information so you can decide for yourself.

2. Don't trade away hacks. Release them instead of scamming someone.
