Probably not hacked. Most probably obtained through the Arceus event in HGSS, which would explain why they're at such low levels, met at Lvl 1 and met in a Faraway Place.

yeah, the ot can be english in hg/ss

they could still be hacked. If you had your own copy of hg/ss and could read where they actually were from, then you could tell better

oh, so that information is permanently saved even though my game can't read it? so when i buy HG/SS I can transfer them over and see if "faraway place" turns to something else?

It retains the Data.. so it will read "Route 38" and like, if it was caught/hatched there in HGSS. Game Freak had this in all the 3rd gen games.

I'm pretty sure the second one is legit. The first one is probably from the whole Tweaking Glitch. Not sure if you'd call it legit though.

The "fateful encounter" is the only message I've ever seen on a GTS Flower Paradise Shaymin and it is my understanding that is how you differentiate btwn a Oak Letter Shaymin & a Tweaked Shaymin. Its b/c tweaking gets you to the proper location but since you didn't have the wonder card data/ use the item in yr bag the game doesn't register it as triggering an event, so you just get a normel capture message of "met at".
