i gott another deoxys, it has the royal ribbon and gorgeous ribbon, but in total theres only 4, you need 10 just to get into the resort area so does that mean this ones a hack too ?

That's fine, they got in with another pokemon and gave Deoxys the ribbons.

MYSTRY Mew cannot be shiny.

Anyway a few more 3rd gen shinies to be checked. All of these are within legit parameters, just unsure if they can be shiny.
SPACE C Deoxys, 10ANNIV Suicune, and a MT BATA Ho-oh.

10 ANIV, SPACE C cannot be shiny. Not sure about MT BATA Ho-Oh, but quite sure it cannot be shiny either.

Its definantly hacked. Any Pokemon caught in the Pokemon League that were not hatched there are hacked. I do believe this is Will's Xatu.

I remember seeing something similar to this when I was checking this Xatu that my friend traded me.Being a AR user herself, she 'caught' his Pokemon and traded it to my Platinum. I haven't had any problems with it, and I nearly play it everyday so I doubt you'll see anything. It all depends on how much it was hacked.Though to be on the safeside I wouldn't keep it.

Random tip: If something in the game can only be done by breaking the real would's law (with a ROM) then it can't be legit. In other words, if it can't be done within the normal game's coding then it can't be legit.

I'm playing Platinum and I'm unsure of how the text changes from game to game. The OT name, route 201, and lv it was met at are what's causing me to question this one. I was under the impression that when eggs are hatched in platinum, diamond, and pearl they were lv 1. If I get a few people confirming or denying, then Ill contact the trader accordingly. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

hmm i seen this shiny pokemon starter gotten in route 201. i believe it is hacked cause you get the starter pokemon at Lake Verity. that is for diamond and pearl, but i am not sure of platinum one as i don't have the game.

also if it is hatched, it won't be called apparently met, but will be called apparently hatched.

Pokearth data here on serebii shows that they are a gift at lv 5... I just couldn't remember that long ago in my game... so unless someone has any glaring evidence that its fake, I'm going to keep this one for now.

Yea, diamond and pearl say the lake, and everything hatches at level one. So it was either a hack or from platinum, and I cannot confirm or deny what platinum should say.

The Johto location is never used in the 4th Gen.

That is normally the case. If this Pokémon is in Black/White, Any Pokémon in HG/SS will be in Johto, even if it was Kanto. (Actually, you can Have Kanto(LGFR), Johto(HGSS) and Sinnoh(Pt) for Legal Locations in Black/white for Articuno.)

Unknown, Which game are you getting this info from?
