Can a Classic ribbon change what it says?
I have got a shaymin by a trade, and the classic ribbon says," A commemorative Ribbon obtained at a mystery location." but a few days later when I saw my almia darkrai, It said "A Ribbon that proclaims love for Pokémon." then I saw another time the shaymin i got and it said the same thing that the darkrai´s ribbon. so I dont know If its a glitch or if my shaymin is hacked
Sorry for my bad english XD
Yay, I finaly get to explain this.
The Clasic Ribbon's text is suposed to say "A Ribbon that proclaims love for Pokémon". If you trade (or battle?) with someone that has a
badly hacked Pokemon in there game, then the text for all of the Clasic Ribbon's in your game will change to "A commemorative Ribbon obtained at a mystery location". It's pretty much a
small obvious flag to tell if someone has a hacked Pokemon in there game. I've done allot of research on this over the last few months, and I've found that there are only two ways to get it back to normal.
1) Trade with someone that has the correct text. (This will probably spread the problem to the other persons game though).
2) Pick up an event Pokemon with a Clasic Ribbon from the Pokemart. (As seen in my video
here)
I'm guessing that this happens because of some glitch with using an AR that resets the ribbons text to default. (A ribbon without text has the default "A commemorative Ribbon obtained at a mystery location" text. Pretty much a placeholder untill the game knows what is suposed to be writen there)
So yes, if your Clasic Ribbon says "A commemorative Ribbon obtained at a mystery location" then you have either battled or traded for a badly hacked Pokemon.
