Everytime I try to go to the event list on serebii my internet freezes up, which it normally does not do. But in the meantime I'll post here. I recieved a magmortar off of the gts and the location recieved from was "Pokemon Festa 06". I've never even heard of that, which is why I was trying to check the event list.

Nickname:Japanese name
OT:Japanese OT
OT Gender: Blue
ID: 11256
EVs (if known/estimated): Don't know
IVs (if known/calculated): According to iv calclulator 28/10/6/9/10/31
Nature: Quiet
Characteristic: Scatters things often.
Ability:Flame Body
Moves: Flamethrower, Fire Punch, Fire Blast, Hyper Beam (geeze, got enough fire
attacks?)
Current Level:100
Level Caught at:Apparently had a fateful encounter at Lv. 30.
Location received: Pokemon Festa 06
Current Stats: 288, 205, 145, 290, 205, 194
Pokeball caught in: Pokeball

The level caught at and location recieved are the only fishy thing as far as I can tell.

I have a question

I have some Pokémon with Classic Ribbons but from time to time they change descriptions (sp?)

Sometimes it says
A commerative ribbon

and sometimes
A ribbon that proclaims love

Could someone explain what is the difference of them ?

The description changes either for those two reasons:

1- You got traded an hacked Pokémon;
2- You got traded a Japanese Event Pokémon that had the Ribbon.

The reason of the Japanese Event Pokémon is that the translation of the Japanese Ribbon is "A commemorative Ribbon" while in English it is "A Ribbon that proclaims love". For some reason, the ribbon takes the Japanese translation of the ribbon.

But SkittyOnWailord explained something that the base ribbon description is "A commemorative Ribbon" when a ribbon is corrupt (When you hack it) and if you get traded a Pokémon like this, they will take that description.

Hmm I have traded some japanese events yesterday is that the reason why my english love proclaiming ribbons changed to Commerative?

Is there a way to fix it again ? as in bring back to Proclaiming love, seeing it randomly changes I think for me xD

Question: Why does it matter if your Pokemon is hacked?

I can't answer an obviously slanted question like that. But this thread is for people who want to know.

If you don't want to know and/or don't care, you're free not to use the thread.

What? I just want to know why you cant have hacked pokemon? I don't have d/p so I don't know.

Most people will refuse to trade for hacked Pokémon, as compared to non-hacked Pokémon, they're worthless (i.e. anyone could hack a shiny Pokémon within minutes, but it would take someone hours, days, and maybe even weeks to get a non-hacked one).
Also, a lot of people will refuse to battle against them, too, as it gives the hacker an unfair advantage (again, because you can create a Pokémon with good stats in minutes, but to train one without hacking takes much longer).
In short, you can have hacked Pokémon, but people won't like you for it.

EDIT: Solberg, it looks legit; however, I'd be willing to bet that the event ticket was hacked. Since the event didn't last for very long, the majority of Birth Island (i.e. level 30) Deoxys were caught with a hacked ticket. The Poké Ball is a bit suspicious; however, I caught my (legit) Deoxys in one too, so it shouldn't really matter.

I got some american event pokemon with the classic ribbon(gamestop deoxys and world08 lucario) in a trade. Sometimes the ribbon's description changes: it says "A ribbon that proclaims love for pokemon" or "A commemorative ribbon obtained in a mystery location". Can american events change their description? Are my pokemon hacked?

Doesn't look like there's anything wrong with it so it's legit.

Close, but the bolded part is incorrect. The Japanese version has both versions of the text just like the English ones. And they act the same as in English.(Trading for a Pokemon from a game with hacked Pokemon changes it) Being a Japanese event makes no differance.
