Is Pokemon Ranger any good?

Im getting it for Christmas probaly but I first want to know what it's like.

Well, it's much better then the crappy PMD. It's actually a good non-league pokemon game. I give it 4 1/2 stars. (a 0-5 scale.)

Its fun but the "Save all the Pokemon and release them almost immediately after being a goody two-shoes Pokemon Ranger" concept destroyed it.

Should've made a Team Cipher game where you play as a Cipher Grunt and work your way to the top capturing people's pokemon and turning them shadow..

I just got it, and I love it. 0-10, i'd give an 8.5 or 9.
And, it's the only way to get ;490; I highly reccommend it. (I have bad spelling, i know.)

eh? MD was horrible... no good features except damn long annoying dingeons and no evolving untill you beat the game BORING.

Isn't this the wrong section? since you can't keep pokemon it isn't the best, but it's still pretty cool.

omg i can't understand why people like this game, all you do is save random poke's and then they just automaticly are your friend why are they tammed so easy? i wish the pokemon tammes back in red and blue had that dumb stuiped thing the rangers uses...

I have dungeon and its a hell of a lot better and more fun..

do you want a longer, more repetitive game (dungeon)
or a shorter, funner game (ranger)
it's up to you.

Agreed. I wish you could keep the Pokemon after you caught them, or something. D:

Otherwise, I think Ranger is pretty fun, besides the point Mechana2412 stated. ^^ I like the gameplay, at first I thought it was extremely easy, but it gets a lot more challenging and fun as you progress farther in the game. I perfer this game to Mystery Dungeon, because Mystery Dungeon gets a little repetitive after a while, like Goldliop said. ):

okay... but warning on the mystery dungeon,
it's EXTREMELY REPETITIVE.
after a while yuou wonder why you aren't just palying a regular pokemon game...

Yeah, mystery dungeon DOES get really boring and repetitive after a hord of long floors just to see a boss Pokemon then if you die, if have to start all over again, I think ranger is more fun, but its not really easy since some Pokemon can annoy you( Wait till you see that Venonat I just battled <.<)

Dungeon its for people that just like seeing poke go wild not being controled by some werido human..
