Is Pokemon Ranger worth getting?

Fan since Gen 1!
I understand the game isn't very long. Should I get it?

To me, there's no point in getting a game that I'm going to beat in only a few hours of gameplay and then never really play again.

How many missions are there in total? Do they take awhile to complete?

Is it the type of game that you can play over and over again?

(A)I checked on serebii's site and it's has 12 listed though there's more i'm not sure since I haven't played it yet.

(B)Same as A i'm not sure it might be it might not be.

Serebii's site had on the news in the past that you can get the manaphy's mission without going to a event.(Meaning you can get Manaphy's egg for Diamond or Pearl when it comes to english) That might be a reason to get it that's mine plus I need a new ds game.

Do more research before you do buy I hope you get the information you need.

Meh. I only beat it in a few hours of gameplay. It IS a good game in all, but...

I don't think this is a game you can play over again whilst having fun.

A. There are 9 missions, 3 Ranger Net Missions en 3 Special Missions that's 15 missions total. Those 9 missions take a while btw.

B. No, when you completed the game it will be dull to start over. It offers you around 10 til 15 hours of gameplay, unless you play a half hour a day then it would take you weeks.

The Manaphy mission was a mistake!!! *coughsMechtaurcoughs*

A) I'm not reall sure, but you get ranks, till you reach rank 10 I believe.

B) No. Not really. Like what other people said it takes a while to finish each misson... it took me about 6 hours to finish 5-6 missions...

Generally, in my opinion the game is very awesome! That's only my opinion, take your time thinking. I feel that the money is worth it, if your the kind of peroson who likes frisby stuff, and beyblades...

@Comray001: You can't judge a game at the beginning, you have to finish it and then judge.

there is absolutley NO replay potential. And to actually beat the game may take a while, because you have to fill up your browser. But once you've beat it, it's done. It took me about a week and a half, I would say unless you really want manaphy, don't get this game.

it is worth it. take this from a person who has beaten the game :/
there is not much to do after it, but the missions are quite long, some are very long and hard. others are sorta short, and you ccan get the deoxys, celebi, and mew mission postgame.

Well, it's fun while it lasts. But there's barely any replay value. That's one of the biggest things I'm concerned about in games.

In the end, it's your choice.

Well duh. You are a Ranger. Rangers protect wild animals in real life. They don't go around poaching them.

Anywayz, Ranger is a fun game. Took quite a while to complete it, because there are a few tasks:

Complete main game
Complete post game missions
Complete Ranger Net missions
Complete your Browser
Constantly try to up your high score at the Capture Arena
Level up your Styler to the max

And finally, spam random codes in order to bask in the glory of being the 1st in the world to unlock the Manaphy mission XD.
