I meant having a PSP.
PSPs themselves are about $170, games cost about $40, and a good memory stick is $70.

Ask anyone who has ever played these games, they'll say the same thing I said. It really is one of the best PSP games, and that is a TRUE STATEMENT.
I haven't found one person who hates that game yet, either.
Even hardcore IIDX nerds love this game, even though they love IIDX more.
I don't even need to give reasons. If you love playing games and don't care what genre it is, then you will love DJ Max.

PSP is a great handheld, don't get me wrong.
But it's going to cost more than $160, considering PSPs are that price/higher, and Zonic, one game, no matter how great it is, cannot be justification for buying a system.

There is certainly more than one good PSP game, don't get me wrong, it's not like I said that's the only justification. Oh yeah, and the DJ Max series is two games, not one. DJ Max Portable 1 and 2. The second game is better than the first, but the first game has better music (in my opinion).
The two DJ Max games are some of the best on the system, so I wouldn't hesitate to point them out. Plus, they are quite underrated, so all the more reason to recommend them.

I have Parappa, but it's in PSX-PSP form (the original PSX game converted to an .eboot and all that jazz).
If I already own Parappa on my Playstation, there isn't much of a point to getting the PSP version, except for the remixes...
As far as music games go, I also have Gitaroo Man Lives!, Taiko no Tatsujin 1 + 2, Pump it up: EXCEED Portable, DJ Max Portable 1 + 2 and that PSPRevolution homebrew.
Oh yeah, and Umjammer Lammy for PSP-PSX (love that game more than Parappa, actually).
