Is Red A Ghost ?

I thought that, like Steven, he was your final opposition. Since Red was the first and you go through the story hearing his story in bits and pieces, the ending is that more grand. It is the final showdown withnone other than the legend himself. He puts up a good fight, you best him and... he vanishes. Thus symbolizing that you have become a legend in your own right.

I must say, this is suggesting that whenever someone disappears, they are a ghost. What about when your friend isn't at school/work? Is he a ghost? No, he's there the next day.

That was a great battle, though. He probably just went somewhere else to train.


I find it hard to believe that after 3 years of training, his Pokemon are still in the 80s. People get them at 100 after a few hours.
