Is the data of abilities for the new Pokémon and forms correct?

I've noticed in the database that all abilities of the new forms and Pokémons are written their. Hisuian Braviary wit Defiant looks impossible to me. I've got the feeling that the information is based on datamines as their are currently no abilities in PLA. Those datamines aren't correct information. Most of the datamines might be scrapped or unfinished content. For the Pokémon abilities, the remains of some copy pasting doesn't look as correct information to me. The possible reason that their are no abilities in PLA is that it didn't get finished on time. People forgot that most abilities don't work with the new battle mechanisme and developing new abilities takes time. The same could be said with held items, Game Freak wants to do a good job (I hope), so they probably want to develop visible held items. (For example: giving a Pokémon choice scarf, you will see the Pokémon with a scarf.)

This is off course my own speculation, but I'm sure that PLA is an experiment for big changes in future Pokémon games. Pokémon breeding is probably scrapped. Why? Pokémon is about gotta catch them all, breeding doesn't fit in the main purpose of the Pokémon games. In Pokémon Sword and Shield breeding became less important (except for shinies, but now we have mass outbreaks.)

I'm hoping that the abilities will be renewed. For example two types of abilities. One kind an ability and the other are characteristics, these characteristics are more like levitate. Those characteristics would give more logic to the battles of Pokémon. Example: Geodude has the ability sturdy, but the characteristics of levitate (it's hanging in the air.) Off course this would be wishful thinking.

The reason why we don't have most online features, is probably because it wasn't possible with an unfinished battle mechanism. To be fair, I'm looking forward to the new competition. The old battle mechanism will not be deleted, but moved to Ilca's development department. (I'm just guessing over here.) I'm sure that Game Freak wants to make the changes in PLA as a new mainstream and becomes the prologue of the new mainstream games.

We don't know for certain, and won't until the new Pokemon are available in a game with abilities. It's possible some of these abilities will be changed. The movesets that were datamined from Home for Pokemon who were later added to Sw/Sh through DLC had some differences in movepool from what we actually ended up getting, so some abilities for the new Pokemon getting changed is hardly a stretch.

Also I feel like 90% of your post belongs in the speculation/discussion thread and is like three tangents removed from the question you were asking...

That being said, they only appear in a few fixed locations in an area. For instance, in Cobalt Coastlands, they appear only at Ginkgo Landing, Deadwood Haunt, Islespy Beach, or Bather's Lagoon. You don't necessarily need to be near those areas for them to spawn there though, so not sure why...
