Is the Masterball rare?

Hi ppls, if this isn't meant to be here then please close it.

And no, I am talking about the card Masterball, not the ball.

Okay so today I decided to buy a deck of cards for the hell of it (It been a long while maybe more then two years since I last brought one) and I opened it and one of them was a Masterball card.

Now I have a question, is this card rare or is it common?

Also I believe I got a Holographic Beedrill card too (My luck hey?), that is rare isn't it?...

BTW, just so this card doesn't become spammy, tell us about your rare and lucky encounters with the rare cards...

The master ball is uncommon, not rare.
The Beedrill You've got is supposed to be in that deck, seeing as they make all decks the same.
If you want to know if a card is rare look on the bottom right corner.
If the symbol next to the number is a circle, it's common. Usually 5 per booster.
If the symbol is a diamond, it's uncommon. Usually two per booster.
If the symbol is a star, it's rare. Usually one per booster.
If the card is shiney it could mean two things:
It's a rare Holofoil card. Usually one in three boosters
It's a alternative holofoil print, it's a card you can find in the same serie without the foil (or sometimes with the foil). Usually one per booster.

I see, thanks for reminding me, just so you know which deck it came from, I believe it was called something like exspecies? Or DeSpecies? Not sure but around there, it has a Flareon on the front, but it'ds not the Johto one..

Oh, I just looked at my cards again and turns out I got two very rare ones with a little star at the bottom. A holographic Beedrill and Holon's Magneton (Whoever Holon is...)

Talk about luck, and as I mentioned, this been a couple years since I last brought/traded/got cards..

Edit: Holy...I just looked at someone else's thread and someone mentioned the little numbers next to the star, and I realized one of them, either Magnaton or Beedrill, or both says like 1/113, does this mean something? If so, should I put this card in a very special place..?

well say there is a new series of cards that come out. delta species if you will. and in that series there are 113 cards and it looks like you got the first one of that series. its rare but not the rarest. the ex cards are the rarest.

The beedrill is not especially rare, the 1/113 just means that it's alphabetically the first holographic card that comes in the set.

that's not luck at all. buy another of that kind of premade deck, you'll get the exact same thing.

I think Masterball is uncommon. I have the modern one and it is uncommon there. I have a Metagross and a Groudon in rare holo. PM me to be my friend.

It wasn't a deck, it was a booster. How many Delta Species pre-made decks do you know of that have Beedrill in them, and a Flareon on the front? There's none that I know of...

Lucky? Well, yesterday, I went to Comics-And-Stuff and I decided I was going to buy four packs only. The lady there knows me so she'll let me thumb through two or three boxes looking for those 'lucky packs'. Everyone says I'm too superstitious. x.X But I bought four packs, Two EX Delta Species, one EX Deoxys, and one EX Unseen Forces. In those four packs, I got three 'shining' pokemon. Shining Groudon(DS), Shining Entei(UF), and Shining Latias(DX).
