is there a way we cud trade from ds to ds gameboy cartridges. like emerald to emerald or so

No. The DS is a seperate handheld. It's not a Game Boy, so obviously they wouldn't put connections. Did you even read the game manuals? They clearly say you can play them on the DS, but you'd need to switch to a Game Boy Advance in order to trade and battle.

Nope - all trading features on GBA games played on the DS are disabled - sorry.

But in the future we will be able to put our GBA Game in the GBA slot on our DS and hook it up with Diamond/Pearl in the DS slot.
