yes, i was kirbymew, and shall be (sorta) again!
yeah, i would have posted saying how to make the scarybird better, but you already did...
ok, the new version of of the camerupt thing is much better. the 0 at the end is a better size now, but where you made it shorter, part of the curve loks much too thin. the furthest on the right, it needs just one pixel (prehaps two, i can't tell without putting it in paint and zooming in) more to make the 0 symettrical, or it looks wierd at the top.
EDIT: told ya so about the name thing...

No but if you want the flame green you could find a color to match the flame. Its all about finding the right color.

flames from old pokemon look wierd, you need to completely redo the flame based on new sprite flames. you should reshape the tail, too, it doesn't look connected, and is too stubby looking. the feet have the same sort of problem, they look far too big on it. good for your first try, though!
how about a chalenge? i find charmeleon a good base to work with, so try changing how charmeleon looks untill it looks like a fake!

yes, you can dp as long as it is with new sprites.
the new charmander is WAY better, i think it's just about right now... prehapt put a pixel or two more to separate where it's back is from where it's tail is?
the water charmeleon is pretty good for a first fake. the foot on out left needs to be facing sideways, like on the charmander, so we shoud only be able to see two claws on it, possibly a little of the third. the jaw doesn't look entirely connected, as we can't see where it's mouth ends, so you should take away one of the teeth. the fin on the back, seems too thin on the end, so you should either make it thicker, or remove the really thin bit. there needs to be more pale colouring on where it's forehead is, ans where it's snout is, a sort of figure 8 shape, but smoothed off of light colour. that will define where the head shape is. with the light round the edge, it looks too flat. by the darkest colour, the outline needs to be black, or a much darker blue, like on normal sprites.
ok! that's it, i think! good job so far!

that, as far as i can see, is perfect now. love the glossy looking colours, much better than the official ones, i hate them.

yeah that stupid dark red ugggh
i also added more shades just to give it a better effect
but you can only notice it when you look at it zoomed in
