Island of Lost Souls *Begins*

Shadowfaith

Shinigami...
The day was bright as always, and the sun was positioned high in the air shimmering down upon the residence of Cherish Island. Sea birds cawed happily as they flew over head and the palm trees made little to no noise as they swayed back and forth with the light, sea breeze. The sea was calm and only the occasional whoosh of the waves as they riled up against the sandy beach could be heard.

A girl stood staring out to see from atop a small cliff where her house was positioned, smiling adoringly as the sea swished happily back and forth and crashed lazily up against the side of the cliff’s bottom. Her hair made little movement as the breeze caught her features and she only blinked at the contact.

This was indeed a perfect day.

When her mother called her back in for breakfast, she quickly devoured the porridge and made her way hastily outside again. She took off in the direction of the beach and bid a good morning to the residence that were going about their every day lives. They bid her a happy morning back before she quickly made her way out of view.

The sand was warm beneath her feet and she couldn’t help but wiggle them adoringly as she threw her sandals to the side and rolled her jeans up higher so that they were made into a scruffy pair of shorts. She then made her way out into the shallow waters, giggling as the mixture of water and sand caressed her lower legs.

She didn’t care that her shorts were getting socked as she made her way out into he deeper water, and stopped only when she was waste high in the crystal blue waters. She sighed in contempt and finally, made a crashing splash as she aloud herself to be swept backwards and off her feat.

It was not weird to call this a normal day for her.

(OOC- You basically post your introduction, a normal day for you, unless you are in the group that is planning to take a little trip out to sea. If you are indeed apart of that group, then I would prefer it if you don't refer to it as a trip to search for the Island of Lost Souls, but an adventure. I don't want anyone to attempt going to look for it just yet. We all need to meet before that is even thought of)

Its a bright and sunny day as Tony is walking through a woodsy path. He is holding a few sheets of paper.

"Ahhh.... What a nice day......" Tony says to himself as he walks down the path. He continues walking with a relatively happy face expression, as the light breeze cools his skin. He stops fo a minute to look up at the trees swaying in the breeze.

"Its beautiful......." Tony says before he moves on. he continues walking and then stops again and looks up with a sad face.
"Beautiful.....But boring....." He sighs as he goes around a bend.
"Aha!" He says to himself spotting his friend. Before moving further towards him he looks at the paper.

SECRET INFO INSIDE

With a Grinn Tony went to approach his friend.

"Hey Kane!"

I allowed the cool and refreshing winds to play with my hair, as I stood outside a small wooden cottage. The cottage was not big and fancy, and did not have luxuries, but it had a comfortable bed to sleep in, and other such privaleges, that I really did not think of it as a bad house. Besides, most houses on Chesrish Island were small like this one. Grinning, I placed my hand on the cottage, and stroked it. It was, after all, my home.

I looked up at the sunny sky, and then down at the silvery waters of th Calm Sea, andcould not help, but feel happy and calm. Cherish Island often had that feeling upon someone. Anyone who was on Cherish Island could not help ut feel happy, as if nothing was going to bother them. I knew how they felt. I slipped my hand onto the sheth of one of my knives, slowly drawing it with a light ching.

"Sam, don't go out too far. Only down to the beach, understand?"

The soft voice belonged to my mother. She was always worried that I would run amock, causing havoc amongst the people here, and get her into trouble, or I would hurt myself, and then she might not know where I am. I had long ago found out, that arguing with her on these topics was not a smart idea. Instead, I yelled back an affirmative, and began to twirl the silvery blade in my hands.

I lashed outward with the blade, and sliced through the air, bringing the sharp edge down onto a tree branch, which gave absolutely no resistance. my knife cut through it like butter, and fell to thr ground. I smiled, looking at my knife.

"Wow..."

Agroth stretched his broad arms as he came into the sunlight of the day. The trees created a lovely cool shadow to protect from the sun and even from where he was, the familar caw of a seagull could be heard. He yawned loudly, only the native animals around him were able to hear him. The gave one glare at them and they scampered off into the dense undergrowth. He smiled, showing his long fang teeth. The animals had learned early to fear him over the years, his hunting had killed and roasted many of their families and made him only stronger.

He strapped on his knuckles, their blades quite old now and beginning to rust but to him they worked just as well as they ever had. He approached a wooden stump with a section of the trunk remaining, its bark littered with scratch and claw marks all over. It didn't look like it would last much longer and today he was determined to finish it. He breathed in deeply, closing his eyes for a moment as he readied himself. He pounced at it, barely teeth and claws. He drived his claws into the trunk ripping off the bark and watching it fall to the floor for a second. He stood back for a moment, breathing fast to catch his breath. At first nothing happened but then their was a loud cracking sound before the trunk shattered to bits. He smiled again at his work. That was the fifth stump this week in four days. He truely was the greatest fighter.... at least on the island.

He sighed at that last thought. True, he had beaten every fighter or person who he challenged and yet he still he didn't satisfied. True he was the best on the island but he was THE best in the world. Thats what he wanted more but this dinky little island never gave him the chance. There had to be away. If he had the chance he would do it. He flicked back his untamed hair from in front of his face and began to walk down tp the beach.

Amber DeEva (Side note: Bold, itallic and underlinded=not part of RPG. Anything else=Part of RPG)

Amber sank in her chair, wondering...about life. She grimaced at the sea. Although, she didn't like it, anyways. Amber saw tides and wave, hitting against rocks. "I'm bored," Amber told herself. "What can I do, know?" She told herself, again. "Oh! I know! I can stop talking to myself!" She did.

Amber got up from her chair. She put her head down, gathered her hair, folded it in half three times, put it up against the back of her head, took a barret and stuck it through the hair. Strands of hair were out of the barret, and others were poking through it. "Wow. The sea really IS powerful," Amber said, in shock. "I never knew that. Did I?" Amber made a quizicall look. Amber turned away and murmered, "I wish I could smack myself silly for saying that..."

Emiley Greevaz

Emiley stared at the blazing sun, looked down at the sand, and saw colorful spots. "Wow. That's prettiful," She said. She blinked a few times. She could still see the spots. "How can I make those color thingies go away?" Emiley closed her eyes for ten minutes. She could STILL see those color spots. "This goes to show me HOW crazy I can REALLY be..." Emiley fell to the sand, her legs out to the side. Her eyes glistened in the sun. "I'm hungry..." Then, Emiley took out a candy bar. "Yuumm!"

Emiley tied up her hair like Amber did. "Food, glorious food. Burned, underdone, crude--Don't care what the cook's like..." Emiley was singing a song that had to do with...food. She looked out into the sea. "Wow. Amber was right. I can see as far as the naked eye can see...err...whatever she said...I forgot. What DID she say?" Emiley started turning her head this way and that. "Ugghhh..." Emiley snapped. "Pie...I want some..." Emiley was bored. When she got bored, all she could about was...PIE. "I have GOT to stop thinking about pie." Emiley walked away and sang a song. Well, two. "Tomorrow! Tomorrow! I love ya! Tomorrow! You're always a day away!"
"Another openin'! Of another show! Another openin', another show! In Philly, Boston, or Baltimore! A chance for stagefolks to say 'Hello!' Another openin' or another show! Four weeks you rehearse and rehearse! Three weeks and it couldn't be worse! One week will it ever be right!" She was hoping for the next day to be better.

Kane slowly whipped the sleep out of his eyes, as he got up from the hay mattress he had made himself. Yesterday had been a busy day for him. He had started on the construction of the boat, which would finally take him away from this little island, and into the heart of adventure. He had discussed it thoroughly with his best friend Tony, the only person on the island he could ever go to if he needed something. They had drawn up the plans for their escape last week, and this morning Tony would be coming over with what he called his "Secret Plans."

Kane slowly made his way to his hand carved cupboard, took a handful of berries and greedily shoved them in his mouth. He had no meat at this current time, so all he had were berries to sustain himself. He quickly threw on his faded khaki pants, and his dragon shirt, and stumbled out side while shoving his unruly blond hair into a ponytail.

Kane turned around and stared at the hovel he has called his home for the last seven years. Nothing more then a small shack, Kane had built it with his own two hands and with nobody to help him. Kane had gone through hell on this island just to survive, and now he was finally going to get off.

He approaches the secret spot that the boat lay half finished in, slowly as if still asleep. "I might as well get a little more done before Tony shows up" thinks Kane silently to himself. He bends down to pick up a wooden hammer, before being startled by a voice yelling “Hey Kane."

He turns to see his best and only friend approaching him with a sealed envelope and a bright and cheerful look on his face. Kane takes a seat on a log, as Tony pulls up beside him and starts to explain just what they're going to do.

"Ok, Heres what were going to do, Basically we meet at the dead oak tree near the southern tip of the isle at 11:00 pm to discuss. Its very quiet."Tony explaines to Kane

"Sounds good, what about Argoth?" Kane replies with a curious tone.
Tony gets up and slowly tilts his head from left to right.
"I'm not sure...... I guess we'll have to look for him" Replies Tony with a slightly wondering hint. "Lets check the beach."

Tony and Kane get up without another word. before leaving, Tony casually glances over and sees the unfinished boat. He looks at it thoughtfully.
"Looks like it wont be to long before it's finished" Tony says with a cheerful voice."
"Hopefully not to long...." Replies Kane with a scowl.

They both look at eachother and smile, thining of what may be out there.

Coco Beach (Might as well have a name)

Agroth finally made it out off the dense forest area and on to the the white sandy beaches of Coco Beach. This was where he used to drag rock across the beach to build up his strength. He could still see the dent in the land where he had chucked a rock over his head and landed hard in the ground. He walked on, watching the white waves whip against the shore and then retreat back into the sea. Yet another clear calm day....sadly.

He sighed as he walked on. He soon came to the south edge of the beach, where the massive rockcrop held its own secret bay. He used to go there alot and climb the rockface. He hadn't been their in days. Now that he thought of it, he hadn't seen or heard from Tony is days or his friend Kane.

Tony had been friends with Agroth for awhile now, about a few years since the intellectual stumbled upon him in his forest home. The two had made a good team since, and interesting duo of strength and brains. Ok he wasn't stupid but he wasn't as smart as Tony. He was some of the only decent company these days with only the boring village people to talk to. He also recently met Kane, a friend of Tony and he really hadn't known him for long but he seemed an alright guy.

He finally stumbled upon the two as they were walking up the beach. He walked over to them to see what they had been up to.
"Hey Tony. Been awhile since I've seen ya. That big brain finally too small for your head?" he joked, smiling and showing his fang teeth.

Shinigami...
The sun was hot enough to dry the teen off as she lay on the rough sand looking up at the sky, wincing if she by chance caught a glimpse of the sun accidentally. This would have been so much better if she had friends to enjoy it with. Who knows with friends she could have been playing a fun game now other than laying alone on the beach. Though saying that, she was enjoying the solitude, but too much solitude was indeed a bad thing.

Sighing, she flung herself onto her feet and decided to go for a little walk. She had the whole day to kill and she was already getting bored. How she wished for an adventure. The small island she lived on was so tiny she could actually walk from one side of it to the other in about two days, three if she stopped to sleep or rest for a while.

She had never seen anything but the Island and a small part of the port situated a few miles from the island. Never had she set eyes upon the rest of the world. She recalled her father telling her of a competition that many sailors would participate in. They would set sail to find something called ‘the lost treasure’. The one to find it would be granted wealth and glory for the rest of their lives.

It sounded exciting, but the residence of the Island had been forbidden to undertake the challenge. Basically, the island was filled with old people, or those with families to raise. She vowed to herself that when she got older, she would participate in this challenge and find the treasure. Forget men, a woman would be the beholder of the lost treasure and not just any woman, but her!

Nodding her head in agreement to the debate that had gone on inside her head, she ran off to find something else to do and stumbled upon a boy that was making his way from the forest in a hurry. Curious she followed him to his destination and found a small group of people working around a raft.

Some of these people she knew, but for the most part they were strangers to her.

“Whatchia doing!?” She bellowed as she rounded the corner into view of the small gang.

It had only been a short while since they left on a walk, but soon Argoth soon came walking up the beach. Tony and kane offered smiles as he walked on up."Hey Tony. Been awhile since I've seen ya. That big brain finally too small for your head?" He joked, smiling and showing his fang teeth.

Tony stopped and showed an evil grinn. "Well, youd better hope my brain stays the same" Tony replied as he winked his eye. He then reached over and handed him the note.

"Lets talk about this while we work, might as well get something done." Kane said with a slightly energetic tone.Tony and Argoth shrugged in agreement as they started walking into the woods.

Soon they got to the unfinished boat.
"What would you like us to do? Asked Argoth. kane was kneeling down examing the boat. "You two go get wood, I cut a big pile a quarter mile that way" he replied gesturing to the west.

But before they could leave a girl appeared.
“Whatchia doing!?” She bellowed as she rounded the corner into view of the small gang.

Emiley HAD to go over and say hi to Amber. When Emiley was FINALLY standing next to Amber, Amber glanced at Emiley. "Why are you here?" Amber asked. "Just to say hi...?" Emiley was kind of lost for a second there. Amber just raised an eyebrow. "I think you just want to be with me because you're bored!" Amber giggled. "Hey!" Emiley snapped. "That's not funny! Okay, you're right. I am bored." Emiley had to admit it one time or another.

Amber put on her glasses. The sun was blazing her eyes. "Have you ever thought of why the sun is so hot?" Amber asked Emiley. "Maybe..." Emiley was staring at the sun. She looked down and saw colors. "I see stars!" Emiley said. "Do you like pie?" Emiley turned to Amber. "You're being random. Just admit it!" Amber was being random, too. "Well, you are too!" Emiley was right. "Let's walk instead of being random." "Okay!" Emiley agreed with Amber.

The two girls began walking on the beach. Amber must have been hot in those black pants and red shirt. Well, the shirt was a tank top. Emiley wasn't hot at all. Since she was wearing a light pink mini-skirt. "So, you like pie?" Amber asked Emiley. "Yup!"

When the girls came to a certain point, they spotted another girl. “Whatchia doing!?” She bellowed as she rounded the corner into view of the small gang.
The two girls stopped and exchanged looks.

As Kane pointed toward the pile of fresh wood, he had chopped earlier that week, he was surprised by a tanned, brown haired girl suddenly shouting out " Whatcha doing" Not really caring, about what the town elder thought, or how anyone felt, he quickly replied " We're building a boat to get off this prison you call an island. Now if you don't mind we're trying to finish it up today, so we can be off before anyone else finds out."

Kane slowly got up and approched the emerald eyed girl, before stopping right infront of her and asking " your not going to tell anyone are you?" Before giving her a chance to answer, He menacingly adds "Because if you did, I might just have to do something bad" Tony and Argoth quickly run up to Kane and pull him away from the slightly stunned and iratated girl. "Woa there tiger, don't be threating Saria." They both say. "She might not look it, but that girl can fight just as well as any of us."

Looking at here with a slightly changed expression, Kane circles the girl noticing her lithe appearance, and the fire in her eyes. Once finished, he steps back next to Tony and Argoth, and asked the question they least expected. "How'd you like to help us finish up our raft?"

Amber and Emiley had no idea who the girl was. Emiley reached inside her purse, took out a pink razor cell phone, dialed a number, and began talking to someone. "Hi. Lucy? It's me, Emiley. There is this girl and I don't know who she is. Do you know? I don't kn-" Suddenly, Amber grabbed the phone, said good-bye to Lucy for Emiley, and put the phone back in the purse. "Why'd you do that?" Emiley asked. Amber rolled her eyes, ignored Emiley, and answered the girl. "We're bored. So, we're walking around." Amber turned to Emiley. "Gimme your phone." Emiley held her purse in her arms and said, "No. Use your own!" Amber took out her own phone, dialed a number, and began to talk to someone.

Angorth chuckled at what Kan said showing his teeth.
"Well I wouldn't say she' s just as good as me. She might be good but I've proven myself time and time again that I'm the best on this fighter on this islands and I'll happily prove my point." he bared his knuckles at the two boys.

"Want me to prove it?" They shook there heads. He smiled as he put them a way. "Thats what I thought." He turned back to look at Tony.

"Still you never told me that you were building a boat. So your really going to try and get off this island?" he asked. There was a silence before he took in what it meant.
"Then what are we standing about for? Lets get this finished!" he ran at the wood they were using, slicing rapidly into the size he wanted. He lifted each one above his head an chucked onto the pile they had made. He laughed as he repeated the process, showing a great show of strength.

Shinigami...
(OOC Lovrina- Were in the time of the pirates, there were no cell phones invented in those days ^_^;; )

She gave the one who had threatened her, a blank look and her hands automatically went towards the two wooden twin blades that were strapped to her waste. She may have appeared good willed and harmless, but she was in fact quite the opposite. Though girls were considered weaker than the males in this day and age, she could kick most of this gang’s *** without even braking of sweat. Call her cocky, but she thought it was true.

It was lucky that two of the gang members rushed forward to hold him back, or else it would have turned into a very nasty sight indeed. She cautiously let go of the handles of the two swords and returned her hands to her sides where they had been previously before the ‘attack’.

"How'd you like to help us finish up our raft?" One of the boys said, eyeing her from near the boat.

Multiple thought ran through her head then. Perhaps this was the time to make an adventure out of this get away. If she could get her hands on one of her fathers maps that had planned a route attempting to find this treasure, they may possibly stand a chance of becoming the most well known sailors throughout history.

It was defiantly something worth considering.

She nodded “Sure, I’ll help. I also got an idea to what we can do on this get away. But, do you really want to leave your parents? I mean, the island is boring, but my mom and dad mean everything to me, y’know.”

She may have sounded pathetic, but it was true. Her mother and father were the only things that had kept her from leaving the island so many times. Their love for her was immense and vice versa. She didn’t want to leave them without saying goodbye, but then if she did, they would keep her behind and she would never get to embark on this journey of a life time.

She sighed and walked over to the boat. She then began tying an extra roll of wood to the still incomplete raft. This was something she just had to do and she was not going to let it pass. She would return with the treasure and her family would live happy lives there after.

"Well I wouldn't say she’s just as good as me. She might be good but I've proven myself time and time again that I'm the best on this fighter on this islands and I'll happily prove my point."

Saria smirked.

“Ill fight you.” She stated simply. “I can use twin blades as well as a few moves of my own.”

It was getting a little late though. She hadn’t realized how much time she had spent at the beach and how long she had over slept that morning.

“But maybe tomorrow, eh? Lets get the raft finished now and then I can tell you all about this story tomorrow and how we can spend our journey. My dad is obsessed with it!”

Tony smiled hearing shed join. And smile again seeing Argoth so pumped. He was working so fast that sometimes he'd fall over or mess up, but he was still the most pumped. Looking at Saria he walks over at hands her a letter.
"I made extras....." He says smiling. He then walks back to see Argoth running back and fourth with wood. Though the piles he carried were so big, pieces would fall all over the place. With a wondering look, tony walks over to the pile."Hmmmmmm......." He then rips out 2 nearby vines. "These should do!" he happily states as he starts tying bundles of wood. After tying 2 large bundles he heaves them up, using the vines as handles and starts walking back. But before he gets back he runs into Argoth, who is looking strangely at Tony "Tie up the bundles with the vines over there" Argoth nodds and runs back.

Everything was normal until he heard a challenge.
“Ill fight you.” She stated simply. “I can use twin blades as well as a few moves of my own.” Came the girls voice.

Argoth stops to look. Considering the girls offer.

“But maybe tomorrow, eh? Lets get the raft finished now and then I can tell you all about this story tomorrow and how we can spend out journey. My dad is obsessed with it!” Saria stated after a while.

Tony walks over towards Kane, Argoth, and Saria. All the needed wood was there now. All that needed to be done was finish it.

"Listen up guys!" Tony states abruptly. Everyone turns to face tony with different face expressions. "The boat will be finished by early tommorow..... So we leave in 2 days..... But we need supplies...." Tony Looks around for a minute. "Meet me here after breakfast tommorow morning. We will have out meeting.

As Kane walked back to his house, images of his family were flashing through his mind. All he could think about was the statment that Saria had said before she left. "But, do you really want to leave your parents? I mean, the island is boring, but my mom and dad mean everything to me, y’know.” "Damn her." He thought to himself. "How dare she bring about these images again." He needed to find that treasure to get back to where he was before the crash and the death of his parents. With the gold, he would obtain world fame and cease to be just some homeless kid living in the woods.

When he got home, it was already dark. Kane hadn't relized just how much time he had been wandering with only his thoughts to keep him company. He went out back, and swang his old axe around, keeping in shape and perfecting his skills. There were people out there that would try to get in the way of his dream. He had to be ready for them. Kane eventually wandered back to his shack, with sore muscles, and a small squirril he had cought in the woods. He cooked it on a spit over his firepit, then quickly engorged himself on it. When he was done he went inside his house and lay down to bed.

No matter how much he tried he couldn't get to bed. Everytime he closed his eyes, he saw images of his dead family, on that god forsaken boat. He cused Saria, and how she had brought up these memories that he had tried so hard to repress. He could hear the wind outside, as it sang through the branchs, giving off a soothing melody. As Kane slowly drifted off to sleep, one tear trickled down his face and on to stone cold floor.

The next morning, Kane groggly got up. He threw on the only pair of cloths he owned, grabbed some left over meat from the night before, and ran down to the unfinished boat to see he was the first person to get there. He grabbed a seat on a rotted log and waited for the rest of the gang to come.

Shinigami...
As Saria got home that night, she looked over her parents sleeping forms from their door way and sighed silently. She lowered her head and retreated into her bedroom. She gathered up a quill and a piece of parchment and began to scribble a note for her parents to read in the morning when she had left on her journey with the rest. She rested on her stomach and began to write her short note.

Dear Mom and Dad

When you read this I will have gone on a journey with a few friends from the island, don’t worry though, I swear I will come back with the treasure for us to live happy lives again. I’m restless these past few weeks and all I ever wanted was to make a difference, so this is what I choose.

I couldn’t go without saying goodbye to you in some way or another, and I knew that if I told you face to face, you would stop me from going. So this is it, I don’t know how long I will be gone for, but its going to be a while.

Dad, I took your map and compass for the journey ahead and I know I can count on you to get us there safely and my twin blades will hopefully be enough to protect me and the others. But if their not, Ill use my bare hands just to get back safely to you two.

Who knows what I’ll become in these years to come, but I’m sure I will grow up to be successful after this journey.

So goodbye for now and I will return when the time comes.

Love you always and forever,

Saria

Upon finishing, she set aside the note on her bedside table and crept down stair as not to wake anyone. She would sleep on the floor tonight and wake up bright and early to begin her quest.

Before she turned in for the night, she gathered the equipment she would need, including the map and compass and threw it into a bad. She placed it near the door and soon found herself deep in sleep.

The next morning, she grabbed her equipment and threw on the clothes she had worn the other day. She quickly made her way to the place in which they had built the raft and wasn’t at all shocked to find that there was at least one person sitting there waiting to leave.

She recognized it to be Kane.

She gave him a small smile and sat herself down on the hot sand to await the others.

“You ready for this, Kane?” She asked innocently. “I got my fathers map that will surly lead us to the treasure. You know about the treasure right? It’s this heap of gold that was lost many years ago by this thief and…I’ll tell you it later when the rest get here.”

Emiley and Amber were confused. Amber siged and walked back to her house. Emiley did, as well. Amber turned around and yelled "STOP COPYING ME!!!" Amber continued to walk to her house. Emiley walked about eleven miles behind Amber, so she wouldn't notice her.

Once Emiley got back to her house, she plopped herself on the bed. "I am oh so tired! I just feel like falling asleep!" So she did. Meanwhile, Amber was sitting on her bed, writing something. "Hmm..." Amber said. She looked up and began writing, again. This is a little of how it went:

Amber's Bored
By Amber DeEva
I have found something out, as if. While I was exploring, I found something secret. Something so secret I wouldn't even dare to write it. Okay, I found a secret door, somewhere in this house. Where's it lead? How should I know? I didn't explore it. Hopefully, it leads somewhere helpful. For example, a secret escape route. Who knows? Maybe even a secret hiding spot? For the record, I will explore it, hopefully.
-Amber Samm DeEva

A secret door? A secret exit? Hah! I bet that Amber would like to use that! Buuut...meanwhile, Emiley was taking a little snooze, knowing of what that secret door leads too. Why didn't Emiley tell Amber? It was a secret. Only Emiley knew about that door. A little while later, Emiley woke up. "Nice snooze and ready to see that door again!"

((I'm a little lost ovah here. So, I just wrote what I thought fit in. HELP MEH OUT!!!)))

It was early morning and Cable carefully looked around... there was no one around at least not that he saw. He quickly bolted to another house and again looked around. He wasn't allowed to be outside so early and he had piano lesson within a few hours. Taking final quick glance he ran from the beach.

Without any problems Cable made it and he sighed with relieve wiping the sweat off his forehead. This was his favorite place to hang out and maybe the single most exciting place on the whole island. Lately he hadn't had time to come here and watch the roll of the sea, to wonder was out there in the salty water. He spotted to people in the distance and a bunch of logs neatly sitting next to each other. He went over and realized that the logs were actually a raft; he smiled with excitement.

"A raft" he spoke out loud to himself, "Are going somewhere? Can I come?" He looked at the two teens that were packed and ready to go somewhere. He waited for their answer.
