Itemfinder help

I can't figure out how you get the items the Itemfinder points to. Help please.

If it's a common place item like Max Repel, Ether (any type) or such it should have an arrow point towards where it's located near you.

If its something like Leftovers where the Snorlax's were, you gotta use Itemfinder RIGHT above where Snorlax was, and for Macho Brace right above where giovanni was in his gym.

I didn't realize this until a few days ago >_>

follow the arrow and when the arrow does ding ding ding ding press A. i think that is waht u do. i haven't played this one for a while cause i sold it
