If I bred a Pokemon that can have an item attached if caught in the wild, is there a possibility that there will be an item attached to the baby?

no you cant get items from baby pokemon.

No, baby pokemon won't hold items when you hatch them.

Um, think about that for a moment. How would that be even possible? Where would the baby get the item from if it's trapped in an egg?
