It needs more shading, absolutelly. The contrast between the characters and the background is too striking.
But, yeah. That's how I would call it. And that fox creature is cute

Is she made out of rubber? Because she has almost no definition to shading, and her face is unforgivably flat and anatomically distorted. Mouth is too small, face shape is too angular and pointy, with drastic angles. I'm not diggin' it >.>

I agree with both Clockworkz and Vile, but one could also say that it is done in an anime type style. All depends opn what you were aming for personaly. I adore the way you draw canids, though. Have always been a fan of your animal works.
