IV Calculator? a problem

some have to let go
How come when I used the IV calculator my Torchic's hp was rock, but when I had her face a Pochyena it was super affective?

I didn't put in the wrong numbers.

IV calc has problem with HP. Just use the formula's provided on the normal HP page.

The IV calculator isn't very accurate. It's most accurate at or after level 50, so try Rare Candy-ing it to level 50 for a more accurate result.

Just for more info, IV Calculators aren't accurate for Hidden Power because you need EXACT IVs to determine Hidden Power. The IV Calculator can only give you your Pokemon's exact IVs if it's at a very high level and never battled, so before then, it just uses the "averages" of the IVs of each stat to determine the Hidden Power type. The best way to determine your HP is really just to use it on a few Pokemon and see what it does. You can eliminate the types that it can't be fairly quickly this way.

once it is to level 100 and you know what EVs you put into what stat you can acurately use an IV calculator to determine the Hidden Power Type and Power

It is only 100% accurate at lv 100, and you will have to keep track of EVs accurately. I suggest fighting Kecleon to determine the HP type.

Your HP is either bug or fighting. There ya go. Well, I've never found anything wrong with the IV Calc, I use it alot, but only for IVs. Lol, So, you might want to check and see what the power of the hidden power is when its a higher level.
