If you want to modify Steeplechase in any way, it's a HUGE modification. It's called Flymence and it looks like this

Castform + Mentor lets you draw tons of cards early game. Flygon attaches energies to Salamence, HOlon Research Tower turns fires into metal, salamence discards the fire, holon farmer puts it right back in your deck.
