Ahh, the animé polls section. A perfect way to burn off some late night boredom.
Poll is straight-forward enough. Which of James' mollycoddled critters do you like best? Chimecho or Manene?

I personally adore both creatures. While I was upset to see Chimecho leave after a relatively short stay as part of Team Rocket, Manene proved to be a more than addequite replacement, despite being a blatant advertisment plug. And as time has progressed, I've become a lot more attatched to Manene. While it's personallity rarely ventures outside that of a simple gimmick, it does have it's touching moments. And hey, said gimmick actually works on many levels. Sounds like a bonus to me!
It's a very difficult choice, but Manene gets my vote.

Manene, at first I was upset at him replacing Chimecho, but he is soo much cooler and he actually does more stuff as well.

Plus he's cute as all, but Chimecho isn't bad, don't get me wrong.

I picked Manene because it actually moves around instead of mimicing Chimecho (har!) and just float there being happy.

Although James's connection with them is the best part of either.

Chimecho never really did much, honestly, but it's connection to James is what made me love it.

Couldn't have said it better. I love Manene, and I have to admit his little imitation gimmick is more interesting than anything Chiriin ever did, but Chiriin's interaction with Kojirou was just so damn cute. ;;

Manene!~ I freaking <3 that thing. At first I was a bit annoyed Kojirou was getting him, but by the end of it's capture episode I had already fallen in love. Not only does it have the cutest voice and actions, but it's so cuddly looking. Like a marshmellow or something. XD

I honestly like both. Manene has the potential to be so much more if the writers never aspire to evolve it. That's why I chose it.

Chimecho. I'll never see what's Manene's charm, much to my dismay. And I quite liked Chimecho for the few times I saw him around. A nice change from the usual Wobbuffet at Motto's end.

I think manene is way better than Chimecho. Sure, I love Chimecho. It has a "relacing" sound, and stunning "astonish" attack. But the problem is that Chimecho has only these feautures. However, Manene is more original than it. For instance, it imitates James and some times others in a cute way. It has a funnier personality than Chimecho , I think. And , in my opinion the most impotant difference is that Chimecho looks like an object, in other words a japanese accesoire. Contrarily, Manene looks like a living creature, by this I mean a humanlike thing. It's a cute and funny clown. I vote for it.

Manene is cuter and it doesn't annoy me as much as that useless old chimecho, i also think he liked chimecho to much and it got annoying.
Manene is more part of the team what with it's brilliant [SPOIL]contest with jessie, hula dancing lol and it was cute when they sat on the beach at the end of that ep and Jessie chatted to it,[/SPOIL] chimech is well too abnoxious to do that.

Chimecho mostly just....chimed and wrapped James' head in.
Oh, and made freaky faces, and could soothe as well as bring pain with its voice.

Manene imitates every move it gets near off, and it's hilarious when it's in crazy situations. Such as the episode where James got it - Lord, I loved the chase when James tried to find Jessie and Meowth.

James is very protective of both Pokémon, so I can't judge by that. But Chimecho started to bore me, sadly, since all it did was smile and chime. Manene seems to have a bit more personality to it. Or not, it could all be imitated XP

But Manene gets my vote because Team Rocket got a hellava lot funnier when it came in to the group.

I chose Chimecho, I was pretty upset when I found out they were leaving only a month or so after it's first (American) appearance, since it's one of favorite pokemon in both the games and the anime. I don't know much about Manene yet, though it does look amusing, but Chimecho has less votes right now and I always loved it.
I can't wait to see Manene, though, even if I'm not looking forward to it's first episode.
