Japan and North America Release.

So I've heard that d/p are coming out in Japan by the end of 2006, does this mean we'll also see it here in North America in 2006? I forgot how r/s worked, I know they came out in Japan before us but how long did we wait until we got them? Because I'm assuming it's going to be in the same time frame as r/s.

It was about three or four months for R/S to get from Japan to North America, if I remember correctly.

I doubt it would come out that soon, that's alot of translating! But I guess we can always hope...

Well, if Diamond and Pearl are actually released in September in Japan, December in the U.S. would be cutting the translation time very, very short, around 3 months, somewhat less if Diamond and Pearl come out at the end of September.

I doubt it would come out that soon, that's alot of translating! But I guess we can always hope...

You know they can be working on both versions in English & Japanese at the same time (though its highly doubtful) - Nintendo would boost their sells even higher if they release those games in Japan & the US at the same time. But since the Anime isnt that far yet I doubt we will get them for a while (even though we got Emerald and the Battle Frontier way before Ash headed there)

Oh well, I'm still gonna import Diamond.

It's not coming out this year.

Nintendo is banking on Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Mysterious Dungeon and Ranger, as well as Yoshi's Island 2 for the big DS titles this year.

Anyone who knows how business works knows that Nintendo is not going to release too many major games at once. D/P don't need to come out this year anyway, that's what Dungeon and Ranger are for.

That would be awesome, though I think usually major Pokemon RPGs take longer..

Overall it sucks because Ive been itching for it for ages but Im in Australia, and I might have to just order it over from america when it comes out because I wont be able to wait that long!!

High profile games are never released in January. The only exception I can think of was Re4 because it missed Christmas by about a week.

March is a pretty solid date, people who say otherwise are just setting themselves up for disappointment.

Well, If I remember right, R/S came out in March of 2003, so I believe that D/P will come out in March of 2007. For me, I can wait because I plan on getting quite games to hold me over, like Zelda: PH, Ranger, and Yoshi's Island 2. Also, with the Wii coming out, I can wait.
