In my mission to acquire the great Celebi, I have obtained the following:
- Japanese Sapphire cartridge (tested & it does allow trading between it & English language games)
- Japanese Colosseum game
- Celebi pre-order disc (On the way)
Sapphire has a saved game where everything seems to have been done. All 8 badges have been obtained & the hall of fame has been accessed, so that prerequisite is out of the way. So where I am currently stuck is the Japanese Colosseum. I haven't started playing yet, but it seems a bit daunting seeing as I have absolutely no Japanese language knowledge whatsoever. I now have to play through this game, & snag all 48 Pokemon so I can get Celebi when the disc arrives. Any pointers?
Is there a play guide for people playing the Japanese games that don't speak Japanese? Maybe a translated move/item list? Also, does the Masterball glitch work in it? I'm assuming it would, but I thought I would ask anyone who is in the know. I have to learn what Masterball is in Japanese first
I want to get through the game as quickly as possible, & I have the official guide to run through, so I'm not completely lost, but I suppose an item & move list would be nice as well as any other info. Also I have an E-reader card for Colosseum. Are there any guides online that will show you how to use the cards?
EDIT: I've noticed in the manual that the girl is covered up more in the English versions. In the Japanese she has a tiny mini skirt & her belly is exposed. In the English versions she has the thick belt & longer shirt to cover up her belly, & a longer skirt. I can't believe they felt the need to do that, but it IS Nintendo we're talking about
