Japanese DS

Hey i am going to buy a DS from japan and wanted to know if it will play all American Games normally and connect with american ones. and will the mic cause any problems.

I'm sure it won't work if you are speaking english(which you are).

It DOES work. All of Nintendo's handhelds are capable of playing imported games, regardless of which version you buy.

Ok, thanks guys and the reason im not getting a Lite is because i'm getting the Graphite DS which is only avaliable in Japan

Yes, you can change the language setting (just learn the buttons you need to press in order to do it). I actually helped someone I know translate his Japanese DS and it works fine.

You could just buy the dark colored DS Lite. It's pretty much the same price, if anything. :|
