Self explanatory.

No not that I haven't tried. It's hard when you're a fresh graduate and everyone expects you to have the experience straight away. Well boo you have to start somewhere!

I am a dishwasher at a retirement home. I am thankful that I have it too since I had trouble finding a job before.

I don't think I should at the age of 14.

But, I have worked at the pizza place across the street, last year as a summer job. It was fun. There isn't much business so you can watch Sportscenter on the Flat Screen HD Screen there 75% of the time.

This

Unless you count me writing stories. I haven't published yet, and I'm still in the first draft of Ex Tenebris Lux: Via, but I still strive to work on it everyday.

This!

Getting a job after high school (especially if you're still 17) is virtually impossible. I've sent out and followed up on dozens of applications without even getting a single interview.

My friend's Dad said he could hook me up with a job at CalTrans though. So hopefully I'll have a steady job by the end of the month.

Right now I have a job at a hardware store, working the checkout. I loved having a job at first, and I guess the hype has fizzled out a bit. But like jb08045 said, money is money.

I have worked 18 years at Ford Motor Company 14 of those years as a Toolmaker/Machining Specialist. I work in the research/engineering division. I make prototype camshafts and crankshafts, and all the joke jokes that go with it ;) for the prototype cars 3-5 down the road (pun intended).

^this, though my job extends to being a server as well, along with food preparation and overall cleaning of the kitchen. Whatever needs to be done really.

I've been there for a year now, my first job. It's a relief since now, should I try to apply elsewhere, I'll have experience to put down.

Still in high school, so no job for me. When I reach sixth form I might get a job in a book store or something like that (just for the discount of course).

I might not look like it, but I'm a journalist working on a local newspaper. I went into the job unwittingly thinking that I'd be reporting on interesting stuff, but no, it has to be about the community and sporting events. Then again, I've only been doin' it for a year or so, so I like to think that I'm getting experience so I can move onto a more widely circulated paper.
