Hmm... The nickname rules are weird, but they don't have any restrictions on legendaries/ubers? That is odd for NoA. o_O

Wow, this Tournament sounds pretty awesome. I do agree though that being able to use Pokemon such as Groudon, Kyogre, Latios, Latias, Mewtwo, Rayquaza, etc. is pretty lame. I can just see it now, a team of the Pokemon I just mentioned, and that person wins the whole thing. That would be incredibly lame if that happened. :<

But, overall, I hope to enter this tournament when it comes around to my area. My 20 Lv. 100 Pokemon and I will be good. :p Now I just have to think of a good combination to use for my team, and possibly re-training some to get better a better outcome. ;)

(lol, and I love this, "Players may not use games containing any inappropriate or offensive language." -- I could see someone bring in 4 Unown, spelling out "F U C K" XD)

I wouldnt mind even getting the third prize or even just having a good time competing in these things.

There's a rule about not using a GameShark, but how would they know if you used one? Besides that's a lot of hard work if you do it manually.

The ubers wont be hard to deal with if you get a good tactic. I have one in theory that if I find a way to make it work will decimate pretty much everything.

Problem is making it work.... Please work!

No problem for me. I've been training on lvl100's and those exact pokemon pokemon by visiting secret bases. Also in Emerald I have a uber that can counter Kyogre.

Whenever someone uses a Gameshark, the Pokemon gets "tagged" with a certain code onto them. It's something like that, and the Nintendo people have a way to figure out if a Pokemon has been "tagged" or not. :p

Ew, ubers. *pokes* Gah, EV train latias, EV Mewtwo, you know the lot. >.> -nin swords and passes to groudon. groudon EQ everything. latias CM and boltbeams everything else. Game.- *sigh* Sad thing is that every match could be just like that. -_-;

Maybe they have a way to find out.. like moveset, etc?

The prizes do seem awfully nice.. though some of the rules are kinda umm, out there. No banning on 'ubers', but Mew, Jirachi, Celebi and Deoxys.. Hm. Wonder if I'll get a good Suicune and in time. ;x

With the GS/AR thing, it says no pokemon obtained with a cheating device or with stats raised beyond what is normally possible with a cheating device.

Do you think they'd care/notice the use of the 'R+A Gain 5000 exp points' code on GS? I don't think it would change that pokemon's coding at all. Or does it?

Ugh. It also has the accursed Item clause rule. :mad: :mad: :mad: Item clause is the most pointless, stupid, idiotic, annoying, rule ever created. >___< We need to all email NoA and ask them to ban legendaries/ubers and remove the item clause, or else all the battles will be identical, hax-filled, slugfests between Groudons, Rayquazas, and Mewtwos. >___< No strategy, just a bunch of n00bs Erupting, Flying, Water Spouting, and Hyper Beaming their way to the nationals. >______<;;;

I don't think they'd throughly check your game's coding...maybe if you won they would, but I doubt it. That would waste too much time.
