The Pokémon movies take a new step forward.

It has been one year since the 20th anniversary blockbuster "I Choose You!".
Young talent has been added to the production team, starting on the top with the director, and the all new Pokémon movie "Everyone's Story" has finally been created.
This summer, we want you too to take a step forward alongside everyone, towards an adventure nobody has ever seen before.

Once a year, a "wind festival" is held in Fura City,
the city where people live together with the wind.
On the final day of the festival, the legendary Pokémon Lugia will appear and give the people the blessed wind,
a promise said to date back to the distant past.

Lisa, the highschooler and Pokémon rookie.
Kagachi, the braggart that just can't stop telling tall tales.
Trito, the timid researcher that lacks confidence.
Hisui, the old eccentric that hates Pokémon.
Largo, the mysterious little girl that hangs around in the forest all by herself.

While they're participating in the festival,
Satoshi and Pikachu meets these five companions by pure coincidence. Each of them has their own worries on their mind,
and are unable to take a step forward together with their partner Pokémon,
but when they meet each other, the cogs of destiny start turning......

Will the promise with Lugia be kept?
And just what is the true identity of the mythical Pokémon Zeraora??

Everyone's friendship, both people's and Pokémon's, will now cause a miracle to occur.

    Corocoro February 2018:

    Lugia surfaces!!!!!!!
The true identity of the mysterious shadow we could see in the teaser... was the legendary Pokémon Lugia! It's going to appear in the new Pokémon movie!!!
Blurb: Both the Pokémon that was gliding over Satoshi and the shadow on the water surface were Lugia!

Lugia, the Pokémon that has appeared many times in movies already, is back!!
Lugia has appeared in past movies, acting as Satoshi's ally. How does it get involved in our tale this time around?!

Pocket Monsters the Movie: "The Explosive Birth of the Mythical Pokémon Lugia"
When it first appeared, it was under the moniker of The Mysterious Pokémon "X". It created a lot of public interest by appearing in the movie prior to its appearance in a video game.

Pokémon the movie XY: "The Archdjinni of Rings: Hoopa"
It appeared as a representative of "Pokémon Gold/Silver"!

    The Legendary Pokémon Lugia
    Species: Diving Pokémon
    Type: Psychic/Flying
    Height: 5.2m
    Weight: 216kg

Does this movie follow in the same vein as last year's movie, with Lugia holding the key to the tale just like Houou did last year?!

Pay extra attention to Lugia this year!
Next issue we'll announce an important scoop on Lugia!!

So its a continuation of I Choose You then? Intereting. Guess no Alola movies.
  4. Ok so I haven’t seen this trailer yet, but Ash is in his I Choose You stuff? Oh my god, there really is gonna be a sequel. I’m a mix of hyped, intrigued and terrified for Makoto’s reputation.

No Zeroara teased means it's probably the spring reveal and greatly increases the chances of this being a three year generation.

Yay if it is a sequel to I choose you; it was one of the things that I wanted. I'm glad they're not going back to the usual formula.

I wouldn't count it out just yet. Remember that Marshadow wasn't revealed at first when M20 was teased.

    Ash looks older for sure

I'm not counting it out, just saying it increases the chances.

Especially since, if this is to be two year generation, they'd have to reveal both Zeroara and a Gen 8 mythical.

But on another note, I find it interesting that this is a collaboration between OLM and Wit Studios, which is something that's never happened before.

It's a remake/reimagination of Revelation Lugia, they played Lugia's song during the trailer.
The girl seems to be a redesigned Frula?

So I guess we aren't getting any movies in Alola then? Wonder if they decided this based on M20's popularity

Hey! That's the first anime original character in years that doesn't look like crap!
    Seriously, she looks amazing!

And suddenly, my interest in this movie is piqued. A remake of my favorite Pokemon movie featuring my favorite Pokemon? Yes please!!

I love Ash's M21 outfit. I swear the third film better have AU Ash crossing dimensions and meeting our Ash, lol.

Just a friendly reminder about the rules: No linking to any random recordings of the trailer you find online. It'll be up on the official Youtube channel soon enough.

I'm already sold on to this movie, if nothing else, it will be done in collaboration with the same studio that worked on Attack on Titan.
