Sorry. I think in one of trailers it showed cross with incineroar and lynchrock so I thought everyone knew that already but there was more to battle. So won't say anything else

Only spoiler I've seen is regarding Marshadow's role in the movie.

Apparently, it's a pretty disappointing role and kind of wasted Marshadow.

I knew about the Pokemon, I just wanted to not be spoiled on the battles. You can still say stuff, but only in spoiler tags.

[spoil] The dub usually doesn't replace game music in the show. So it shouldn't for the movie. Just expect ones such as the replayed Kyurem Theme and Genesect Theme music to be replaced :V"[/spoil]
If I have to hear those songs again for dramatic parts in the movie I'm going to go insane.

I'm not sure how this film will in the box office. The nostalgia is very little. Needs a good opening and positive wom from Pokemon fans not just nostalgia seekers

To be fair it's probably the reason that character didn't make a second appearance in the main series.

It'll do well regardless of nostalgia. Why the heck do people think that the movie will only do well if it capitalises on nostalgia and all the Genwunners that feel so entitled that they believe the movie should have simply been a remake of Kanto rather than something original that captivates audiences from all eras and adds something new to the franchise beyond some snazzy graphics?

This movie will succeed regardless because there are people who want to watch the movie as a movie, rather than nostalgia porn tailored for people who have a bias that states Gen 1 was the only generation successful at anything. This movie shouldn't have to rely on OS entirely to be enjoyable, since there are people within the fandom who do not care in the slightest for OS nostalgia, and that's why they did a nice blend of the two and only have the first ten minutes be a recreation - to appeal to both sides of the coin.

Sorry, got a little aggressive there. Just wanted my point to be made clear.

You forgot the part it's up against a Ghibli movie, which doesn't need an anniversary thingy to rack up the dough.

I get that it's going up against Ghibli, but Ghibli isn't exactly related to the Genwunner problem.

i've seen mixed reactions to the movie. people say it was either one of the best movies ever or a letdown.

anyone know what ho-oh and marshadow's roles were by the end of the movie, as well as makoto's "secret"? (idc about spoilers)

Do you even watch the show? Nowadays, they replace everything except a couple of tracks. lol

You'd think they'd keep the soundtrack for this movie, like with movies 4-16, but starting from movie 17 (and the XY series), the dub has become really bad.
