Let the entire world know of this.
About the ultimate starting point.

The mythical Pokémon Mew is said to only show itself to adventurers who possess both "a pure heart and a strong desire to meet it". It is said to be the "origin" of all Pokémon, and as Pokémon researchers all over the world seek its whereabouts, a scientist finally discovers a Mew fossil and starts tempting God, involving himself in a forbidden act based around said fossil.

"Where is this? Who am I...?"

A legendary Pokémon born unto this world by the ego of a human that wanted to create a strong Pokémon. Its name is even Mewtwo. And as Mewtwo, serving as the ultimate weapon, repeatedly carried out experiments without even understanding why it existed, it harbored a hatred towards the human that had birthed it.

"I hereby strike back at the mankind that birthed me!"

At long last, the complete, immortal masterpiece STRIKES BACK all over the world in full 3DCG the summer of 2019!!

It sounds like a remake of the first movie. But I guess more will be done to Mewtwo as in Ash develops a stronger bond with it. And if Amber is in, I'm hoping more about her backstory gets revealed.

Cool. This movie might be the AU version of Movie 1, so I guess we will wait and see.

Is it an AU or the main universe?
If it's the main universe then get ****ing hyped! Mewtwo's been absent for far too long. The real Mewtwo anyways

Maybe will see Mewtwo X in this.
Maybe but I also like to see Mega Mewtwo Y for a bit. But defintiely Mega Mewtwo X because it hasn't gotten a major appearance in the Pokémon anime as a whole. Maybe that could be used to show Mewtwo's hidden but more terrifying capabilities.

I mean, it intrigues more than these other 2 movies. I'm almost certain this new Pokemon is a Mythical now tbh

Just remembered Mew. They still need to show off its Z move. Though it could be pushed aside for the new guy.

Yeah it would be cool to show off Genesis Supernova in the movie. Maybe Mewtwo can be seen to represent Mega Evolution and Mew can be shown to represent Z-Moves. It will be nice to see a brief appearance of a Mewnium Z, Mewtwonite X, Mewtwonite Y and a Key Stone.

Imagine this concept for a remake of the first film:

Two Mewtwos created. One having the ability to change into Mega Mewtwo X and the other into Mega Mewtwo Y. With both Mewtwos clashing against each other, Mew appears to stop the battle between its two clones and it's finishing blow will be its Z-move.

Just imagine...
Seems cool there. But then I imagine that they will each run a cloning facility where one set of clones fight another set of clones and Ash and his friends and some others fight with uncloned Pokémon especially with Mew. Kinda similar to what happens in the original movie but there is some kind of triangle fight.

So we’re getting a remake of the first movie? Not gonna lie, I’m excited. Mewtwo Strikes Back was one of my favorite movies amd I’m excited for this :)

The term if it ain't broke don't fix it applies here
It's going to not be the same at all. No Brock, no Misty. Gen 8 Pokemon forced into a prominent role, stupid new characters people make a big deal about like Sorrel and Verity.....
