The sharp contrast between Japan praising the anime as part of its culture and going all out with promotions compared to the West doing almost no effort with it to even dub the anniversary movie remake and laughing at the main character's losses is bizarre.
Considering the remake of the first movie with Mewtwo, do you think this is a sign that Mewtwo will appear in the new Pokemon Anime?
I mean, Go is determined to find and capture Mew. So, if he and Ash follow Mew's traces, I suppose this could lead them to find the story of Team Rocket's cloning experiments and the creation of Mewtwo.

We've never seen Mewtwo cooperate with Mew, so that's definitely something they could do regardless of this movie.

Disney XD won't be airing it at all at this rate. It's possible they might want to dump this onto Netflix, but I haven't even seen "Everyone's Story" on Netflix yet. This is just so bizarre.

At the very least, I can't imagine that the actual dub work would take that long even for a CGI movie, so it's most likely not be an issue with the actual dubbing itself and more of a problem with distribution rights or something along those lines.

I don't really care about it, they can easily skip it because it's a remake. If they have to adjust the lips per language, like French that would be difficult and time wasting.
