A Pokémon came falling from the sky!

As Satoshi continued his journey aiming to become a Pokémon Master, a lump covered in white smoke suddenly dropped out of the sky and landed in front of him and his friends.
As white smoke spread around as far as the eye could see, a shape appeared from within it;
The mythical Pokémon Volcanion.

Ignoring the worried Satoshi and his friends, Volcanion, who hates humans, immediately tries to leave the place.
However, the impact of the fall caused Satoshi and Volcanion to be linked together by a strange device, leaving them unable to separate...!

Volcanion runs off and Satoshi gets dragged along by it, eventually reaching the Azoth Kingdom, a city of super-machinery where gigantic cogwheels are all over the place and rotating.
Why did Volcanion fall from the sky?
And why did it head to the Azoth Kingdom!?
With the mechanical kingdom of machinery as its setting, the hottest legend in Pokémon history begins!

It has perfect command of Fire type moves! Also, thanks to its Ability "Water Absorb", it can invalidate Water type moves!!

It has also mastery of Water type moves, displaying power the likes of which should be illegal!

Pretty sure that's Zygardes new form, remember someone drew that sketch of the movie 19 teaser a few days ago? They drew a huge tower looking thing that had Zygardes color scheme over a tower and know we have this silhouette. Plus you can see some hexagons on it.

The head crest and the white diamond eyes would seem to suggest a Zygarde forme. That's a safe bet.

The more I look at its arms/head, the more I'm convinced its a Zygarde forme.
Plus the idea of large arms and a serpentine body still seems to be a pretty cool tune-up for this guy especially considering its role, not to mention biology (what with the blinking lights that appear to be processing what's happening around it).

Man! To say that this looks epic as hell would be a huge understatement! I love the original Zygarde form but this looks much more epic! I'd go as far as to say this is one of the most epic-looking forms in the series! At least the silhouette makes me think so. I hope the real thing is just as epic!

The silhouette kinda reminds me of Chernabog (that giant devil from Disney's Fantasia). Though the real thing will probably share the green/black color scheme that Zygarde's regular form has, meaning it won't look anything like Chernabog at all, but still.

Anyways, I still have no idea how to pronounce Zygarde's name. Anyone knows the correct way to spell it?

I normally pronounced it Zee-gard (silent e) mostly dues to the french origin + with Kalos region's theme and all that...
As with the silhouette we still won't know anything probably for a bit, at least until it's officially revealed later down the road.

Anyway while I love the size of Zygarde's new forme, I'm really hoping there is another that may be revealed too. With two more Gen 6 game slots left, I could see it happening since Gamefreak has been very unpredictable these past few years.

Well, no doubt about it - that is Zygardes new form/evolution.

It has those similar shaped pieces and it's eyes don't stray too much from Zygarde.

What i want to know though is that are those images a scene taking place in Movie 18 or is it images of the preview for Movie 19?

So, it's something like "Zaigard").
You know, since this form has arms and possibly legs, I suppose if there's a second form, it will likely be more snake-like.

you know what, this form looks something different, i mean it has 2 legs and 2 hand and a wing, this is just a guess but , if Xerneas is a Pokemon X, Yvelta is a Pokemon Y, And Zygarde is pokemon Z , What if this 3 pokemon fuse and this is the final form? thats probably awesome

Interesting theory, and in Bulbapedia, it states that its patterns resemble those in DNA...so while slightly farfetched, I wouldn't be TOO surprised if that was the case. We already have another Pokemon who can technically fuse (aka Kyurem). But yeah, what the frick is that thing? Ocota-cota, an artist on Tumblr made a little doodle of it and from what they've drawn, it does seem a lot like Zygarde...and is that a castle down there?

i think this is arceus final form , with "thousand arms" , a true anthropomorphic god.

I have absolutely what this mysterious pokemon is. We know Zygarde still has yet to appear in a movie of its own when Z or X2 & Y2 come out, so I'm not sure whether it's Mega Zygarde or simply a new form or a completely different pokemon from Gen VII. Or perhaps it is an alternate forme of Volcanion who is obviously next line for the staring role in the next movie. What do you guys think?

Zygarde or Volcanion is most likely given the movie patterns.

I don't want to sound rude or dismissive, but this thing shares absolutely nothing design wise with Volcanion. Even Remoraid and Octillery are connected through the theme of 'shooting' (as evidenced by Octillery's name and their impressive arsenal of beam moves), with Magikarp and Gyarados connected by an old folktale. This thing and Volcanion on the other hand? Completely different in almost every regard.

Also, if I remember right, the Legendary Pokemon is often revealed before the 'Event Legendary/Mythical Pokemon', with the one exception in modern times being the Genesect movie, though that was probably for the fangasms that came with having Mewtwo present.
