What has Absol done since his capture? Cubone, Pidgeotto? And let's not talk about Lucario or Gengar beeing reduced to such low screen time that even the writters of the show don't know his moves.

It gets along with Pikachu, Bellsprout, Plusle, Minun, and Eevee quite well.

It's a far cry from Sobble who's only friend was (and still is) Cinderace
