Having said that, where is White?

And I found including Hiker, there are seven people.

So will they replace the gym leaders against the seven sages?

Then I think we will get B2W2 first in Pokemon Fan in July. :599:

It's Hiker Andy!!! I'm infinitely happy that he's back!

VIZ is so gonna change that Gym Leader scene. They don't like people hanging on crosses.

Too bad that it wasn't a White chapter... : ( Where is she anyway? Hood Man is already there, so White either really got captured and is being held in the castle, or Hood Man let her go and she's wandering around somewhere. Probably in the castle, whatever the case.

How is this going to be wrapped up in only two chapters? Ichiban will still have one chapter left, right? This month's chapter still doesn't seem to continue to last month's Fan chapter though, so I suppose next month's Ichiban will also be an in-between chapter. And June 1st Fan is going to be the overall finale. I'm really excited, but also a little scared of how rushed it might be. Next chapter has got to have White in it and she's gotta shine. Otherwise I'm gonna cry and hope she gets better treatment in B2W2.

Things are about to get really intense now that Team Plasma's castle appears and the missing Gym Leaders show up. It looks like the trainers Black met on his journey have come to help him.

Just picked up the magazine.

After Reshiram reawakens, its weight crushes the glass ceiling and Black descends back to the arena with an unconscious Cheren. Zinzolin congratulates Black for claiming championship, but Black barely cares and demands to know where White and the Gymleaders are. Drayden and Iris evacuate the crowd and meanwhile, Brycen has broken into the underground of the league, after he detected an ominous rumbling from below. After White informed him of the alliance between the Hoodman and Zinzolin, he lost contact with her and wonders where she is. As he arrives to a mysterious underground level, he is greeted by the Sages, but when he tries to attack, Ghetsis uses Hawes, Lenora's husband as hostage, and forces Brycen to surrender. Back on the arena, Zinzolin activates a remote control he has been hiding, and N's castle rises just like in the games, extending its staircases to penetrate the League building similarly. The audience are trapped in the square outside the Elite 4's chambers, but with the Team Plasma Grunts closing in on them, Drayden and Iris bestow upon themselves the task to defend the people.

On the Elite 4's side, Caitlin believes that Team Plasma has taken their 'Ideals' a step too far, and both Shauntal and Grimsley agree to help as well. However, they are intercepted by the Hoodman, who releases Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus to battle them. It is revealed that his goal is to try collect data from the legendary Pokemon's battle with the Elite 4, so he may discover a way to morph them from the Incarnate formes to the Therian formes. While Shauntal, Caitlin and Marshal take on the genies, Grimsley frees himself and continues to chase after the Hoodman.

N appears with the goddesses and the Sages, and puts the 6 Gymleaders on display, mocking them as the holders of the so called 'qualification' to enter the League. Reshiram senses Zekrom, and flies up to face it, while Black is left on the ground level to face Ghetsis. However, Hydreigon single handedly knocks out Black's full team, and just when it seems like no one else can render help, the many friends Black encountered during his journey appear help, claiming that they are no Elite 4, no Gymleader and not even remarkable trainers, but they all possess dreams and the fondness of Pokemon. The people who have come include Hiker Andy, the Patrat show Shoko, Riches Trish, Biker Jeremy, Doctor Logan, Baker Chris and Janitor Geoff...

The next Ichiban chapter is said to be the finale of the series. This current ones obviously happens between the Reshi/Zek showdown in Fan last month. and I suppose the next Ichiban issue will lead to that showdown (somehow, Black has to get on Reshiram, probably while the trainers distract Ghetsis and co). This means Fan will hold the last magazine chapter of BW. Or, the next Ichiban chapter may allow a 'cut-in' for Fan again like previous chapters, which means it will lead up to the Fan chapters, but then also carry on til the very end by omitting the details of the Reshi/Zek showdown (think the chapter on where Black ran away from Drayden and then the next panels show him witnessing the Alder/N battle. The Mistralton Cave chapters obviously cut in between them).

Outside of that, I do like where the story is going. Things are starting to get very interesting.

What is it with Anime/Manga using stuff like characters being crucified even if they're no real reason to? I'm not mad, just befuddled.

What is up with manga and crucifying people? Japan does realize that crucifixion is one of the most inhumane way to kill a person, right? Kusaka, Yamamoto, what is up with you two?

You know, this actually creates a plot hole. Why would Zekrom follow N when he is willing to inhumanely kill people? A Hero of Ideals (an Ideal Hero if you will) would never do such a thing. A hero is, "a person who, in the opinion of others, has heroic qualities or has performed a heroic act and is regarded as a model or ideal". Other ways to describe an ideal hero include:

1) He fights with honor — he never kicks opponents while they're down or uses dirty tricks to win a confrontation.
2) If he takes to the battlefield, he fights with appropriate force and despairs having to see any bloodshed.
3) His goodness is genuine, not some con, and he will always make the right choice.

Crucifixion is a needless form of torture that is banned in the United States (you know, where Unova is located) because it is an inhumane way to kill a person.

N is not an ideal hero, he is an Insane Psychopath.

So why does Zekrom follow him? Is Zekrom insane? Is Zekrom an idiot? Is N's stupid backwards logic contagious?

Actually Trutown, it does make sense in a way. Back in the day, crucifying someone meant that that person was lowest of the low; Jesus had been swapped in for an psychopath mass murderer who was scheduled that day. Seeing how Team Plasma is made up of pretentious knight wannabes, it would make sense that they would believe that the Gym Leaders are of deserving of that label. (Also, note that the Gym Leaders are not nailed, so they're fine. THAT would've been messed up.)

Also, ideals simply mean that you strongly believe in something that isn't the norm and will do whatever it takes to achieve it. It doesn't necessarily have to do with honor. For example, someone's ideal world may be one where everyone else is dead. Not exactly heroic. N wants a world where Pokémon and humans are separated and believes it possible, so Zekrom will follow him.

Hearing that Black's entire team was wiped out by Ghetsis's Hydreigon brought back memories of the first and only time I battled the thing. Uber Dragon Pokemon.

The story seems to really be getting good. Of course the Gym Leader scene will be edited to look like regular tables they are strapped on to. My poor Skyla. To have her on display like that as a prisoner. I cannot wait for Black to destroy N, and not just for Skyla, N's been a massive...well I can't say it here, but the he's had this coming since he first appeared. I hope Black beats him senseless. I must admit, I love hating N. That alone makes the BW chapter amazing. Also Hiker Andy is back, leading the troop of regular everyday average trainers? Score! Hiker Andy pwns N any day as far as I'm concerned. Reshiram, even though I like Zekrom better, I want you to crush N, I mean Zekrom. Again I love loathing N :D

They are what? Crucify? Okay, seriously. We need to tell Kusaka and Yamamoto to stop with this religious crap. Take a good look at what happened in the Yugioh series. Same thing with the Fullmetal Alchemist manga. I don't care if it's manga, just cut this damn religious thing and quit being too religious. That's a bad omen, especially people who are religious too.

Any more of this and we need to tell Japan to stop going too far. No more religious tricks, no more half and full nudity tricks, and no more cuss words for the mangas. Do that, and we can get along fine, okay? I think this is taking too far for sending children all over the regions the wrong message.
