    Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
    Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
    Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.
  • Hi all. We had a couple of reports of people's signatures getting edited etc. in a bad way. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and nobody has compromised any of our databases.

    However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar passwords to elsewhere which has been accessed, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

    We always recommend using unique passwords, and two-factor authentication if you are able. Make sure you're as secure as possible

Well I thought Ash would use Z moves since Pikachu is most likely his last Pokémon in the battle so maybe he uses Pikachu’s Z move against Leon after all.

If Ash truly uses G-Max Gengar in this battle, which, considering the first M8 trailer, will happen, then Ash will use M-Lucario against Cynthia and Z-Pikachu against Leon.

Cynthia’s Garchomp is immune to Electric attacks, and I highly doubt that they’ll do the same “the attack is so powerful that it ignores immunities” shenanigans which they already used against Volkner.

some people say that ash won’t use G-Mac because of the Metagross vs Pikachu scene in the trailer, but it could very well be that Gengar had to G-Max to safe himself from Steven’s fossil Pokémon, and that Metagross than finished him off

Gengar just learned will-o-wisp, so, can it use g-max wildfrire when g-maxing? It would be like charm against Steven.

But, if it's a 3 vs 3, we still don't know what will be the their third. For Ash, I'd guess sirfetch'd, Steven, I dunno.

Pikachu's G-Max move's special effect is that that it paralyzes all Pokemon (except Electric types, who are immune to paralysis), even Ground types.

That depends. Will-O-Wisp has consistently been an offensive move in the anime, and you can clearly see Paul's Metagross taking direct damage from the fireballs as well as being burned. It would turn into Max Flare under anime logic, Max Guard under game logic.
