Well if Lillie is going to get this A.Sandshrew, then i guess she would actually eventually get 'Icium Z', before the Necrozma arc.

Team Rocket did both get hold of a Z Ring after appearing in the 'Pose' credits, maybe Lillie's appearance is a foreshadowing as well.

Out of the five Z-Move poses Ash did in both versions of Pose, he can only use one, and it's the same one he's been using since episode 2.

Think it's safe to say it wasn't meant to foreshadow anything.

I doubt they're going to showcase every single Z-Move in the main anime, much less have the main characters pull it off

Ground will likely be shown off with Hapu
Acerola pulls off Ghost during the League
Mina is Fairy (also potentially Lillie with Alolan Ninetales)
Molayne is Steel (he'll likely give it to Sophocles for Togedemaru, and will probably be involved with Sophocles evolving his Charjabug)
Guzma is Bug
James is probably Poison (won from Plumeria perhaps?)
Kahili with Flying during the League

I wonder if we'll have some Side Story episodes to show off Z-Moves as well, because the XY SS episodes and movies were where the majority of Mega Evolutions debuted

James already has dark so there is no need for him to also get Poison as well since it will be pointless with TR only getting one Z ring. They are pretty much done with getting Z crystals

It depends if they get anymore Pokemon. I'm kinda hoping TR don't remain stagnant from this point (don't leave James with just one Pokemon again).

Even if they get an extra Pokémon, I still don’t see them getting more crystals because one they are villains and two crystals are enough and two Jessie will be hogging the Z ring a lot due to her having Mimikyu Z. They won’t get an extra Z ring for James to use because then instead of using one Z move it would then put them at ridiculous advantage.

Huh, didn't know that. I'm fine with that. If Lillie is battling an Ice type, it could be a chance for Vulpix to get a new move, maybe Moonblast so it has an advantage here.

Yeah in the way so that it gets more development here and may allow Lillie to develop her skills as a Fairy specialist.

Yes but giving them another crystal would just put one of the others mostly Darkium in the back burner. Again TR doesn’t need any more crystals as two of them is enough and one of the two is a signature which will mostly be showcased more. Plus if anybody will showcase Poisonium it could be Ash who also owns Poipole.

Darkium Z looks like it could suspiciously qualify for most of TR's other roster should they expand since loads of Pokemon learn Dark moves (even Meowth could potentially use it), while Mimikium Z works to showcase the signature Z Move for the Pokemon (though I admit I'm surprised Mimi-tan didn't end up showcasing it).

I think it really depends if they're planning to keep giving TR focus this series, or they just boosted them for a brief moment in the limelight to check off a couple Z Moves. If they plan on keeping them a ongoing threat they'll likely get more resources to keep up with Ash, but if the writers intend them to go back into incompetents, they'll likely not give them much else and let the twerps overtake them like usual.


Concerning Lillie, I'm tempted to think even if she doesn't get Sandshrew, she might get something like a new move for Snowy, especially since development tends to come in sporadic but heavy bursts this series (eg. TR getting a Dark move, a Z Ring and Mimikium Z in one episode, same for Kiawe getting a new move and his secondary, or two episodes for Lana to get a new move, a Z Ring and Waterium Z).

THIS I've learned to not expect anything from SUMO. Heck Lillie making friends with Sandshrew only for it to leave is good enough for me. I am keeping my standards low with SUMO.

True that she did get two moves but we've neither seen Snowy use them since the PokéSled episode nor has she ever learned an attack outside of Powder Snow. We might even see Snowy use that combo here.
