Why just 15? I think all 21 of them are popular enough to beat non-Dex Holder characters (even Giovanni).

Maybe they can include another popularity poll for PokeSPedia :3

Moon is a Poison type specialist that was completely unexpected and a funny twist I really like this chapter because of guzma compliment his Pokemon that really nice and his battle with sun is great and so far I'm liking moon as a Character she is really interesting same applies with sun as well.

I agree. I really hope Moon is the main character for this chapter, especially since she has so much going for her narrative wise so early on. I mean, she's interacted with, or has been acknowledged by, almost every major character introduced up to this point, especially notable since that includes the other three members of the main game quartet, and is involved in the one event that essentially makes her special.

My personal bet is that Sun and Moon will battle each other in the finals and end up in a draw, so they get to travel Alola together (we only have one magazine sooo). Maybe Hau can tag along since he's starting to get acquainted with them. As for Lillie, game-wise, probably later in the story.

I really hope so because I don't want Hau and Lillie end up being like Wally,Cheren and Bianca in term of importance.

Don't think we really need a Sun vs. Moon battle. We pretty much have a good grip of their personalities and teams by now, and it is worth remembering that PokeSpe is running on a pretty limited pagecount as is. I'm hoping Moon gets the amulet. Her curiosity aside, she has no real reason to stay in Alola after the tournament, while Sun's big thing is that he needs a buttload of cash that the island challenge could interfere with.

Also, Lillie and Gladion are fine. As long as Lusamine's the main bad guy, it's impossible to diminish their importance to the plot.

Now, Hau on the otherhand...

An interesting fact as I re-read the chapter today. The Announcer is actually named 'Chair-taro', Chair as in chairman I think, and taro as in the same suffix that Gold uses to nickname his Pokemon.

The only cat Pokèmon are in alola is Meowth alola line,Litten line and solgaleo Wich is not that much.

* Togedemaru
* Mudsdale
* One of the Ultra Beasts maybe? Or another Alolan Form, like Exeggutor

* Salazzle

The fact that Moon has an Alolan Grimer so early suggests to me that we won't be getting a repeat of X having mostly Mega Pokemon and Y only getting one.

Though I honestly do expect more than what we have.

So for Sun:
Alolan Persian (I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Dollar never evolves. If only because Alolan Persian looks really weird and Nanu has one.)

Solgaleo

Moon:

Decidueye
Alolan Muk

Vikavolt (I honestly didn't expect anyone to get a Pokemon that had a evolution that was a Totem.)

Nihilego (Because Poison-type and we need at least one Ultra Beast on a Dex holder's team.

I'd like to see him with a final team of:

I can't see Mudsdale, honestly. He already has the Gallop function on the Rider Pager, so he can just summon a Mudsdale whenever he wants.

Plus it's Hapu's main Pokemon, and it'd be kind of redundant when she appears. I guess Bewear is kind of out since it seems to be Hala's main Pokemon here instead of Crabominable. ...Though I guess that means Crabrawler's free now.

As for Moon:

* Decidueye
* Vikavolt
* Toxapex
* Alolan Muk
* Salazzle
* Minior or an Ultra Beast (Nihilego...)

And as stated above, Salazzle is Plumeria's main force. (Though, I actually was expecting Plumeria to use Mareanie here. But it's a Dex holder Pokemon, so surprise surprise.)

Sun pulls out a rock from his pocket (which they avoid showing) to use.

I think he's wearing the Sparkling Stone on his arm right now. Not that he'd be able to use it without a Z-Crystal, though.
